I really liked this the first time. Its not a harem manga thats really funny, but some of the characters are really good. There are some really useless annoying characters, however. Its a good read because you really get emotionally attached with some of the characters, and its nice that Junpei has to choose a girl based on one's passions (cooking, movies, writing)... However, that means the girls that don't have any real interests in a career (Satsuki, Kozue) never had a shot with Junpei. That said, reading it the second time was painful. I skipped a lot of "pointless" chapters, and I was realizing more and more how unrealistic and annoying this manga was to read. All in all, I think this manga is worth reading at least once.

To all the haters, I actually liked the ending. I like slice of life endings where the girl who tried the hardest ultimately got the guy.

Good art and decent writing for the most part. Light ecchi scenes, especially compared to a lot of the stuff out now, but plentiful.

There was a lot of flip flopping going on in the story though and the main male is your arch-typical weakling popular with all the girls. There was a tendency to tack on additional characters that went nowhere to pad out the story. Some were fun. Most were forgettable.

All in all, this was a decent read. It began fun and silly and it slowly matured yet retained a sense of humor. The ending wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either and it ended organically. Compared to so many other series nowadays, that is pretty damn good.

well its been a while since i finished this series but im reading it again cuz its pretty much my favorite romance manga EVER!!! loved the story although the protaganist was a bit of a ... well lets just say he was borderline retarded with his indicicivness. the eechi moments came all at the right time and helped make it more enticing.

when i started it the first time i wouldnt have believed anyone about the ending until towards the very end and i love it even more for the heart warming realistic ending and i could say much much more about how good it was but i'll just say this

READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLY CRAP!!! Never have i felt the need to express my appreciation to ANY MANGA before..... and i've read a TON!!! this is one of the few series that i felt actually tugged at the reader's heart... Granted... the first few chapters were kind of lame... but as the story progressed, it became more immersive and was just... impossible to stop reading!!!

the personalities of the female characters were very distinct, something few mangas have when it comes to harems... and the romance was ACTUALLY THERE!!! love hina is a great example of a romantic comedy were comedy outweighted the romance 100:1 ... but in ICHIGO 100%... OMG IT'S JUST SO GOOD AND FULLFILING!!!!

all the talk about dreams realized and heartbreak and love actually gives the manga emotion... i read the whole series in 5 days because i just couldn't stop once i started reading.... the emotional rollercoster relates soo much to actualy life... it makes me wish i was a japanese student though >_<

art was fantastic, i like the storyline better then the art though, but the way the mangaka drew out the emotions and the tears were FANTABULOUS!!! i wish the series would just keep going and talk about their life in and after college years...

i give this manga a 500/10 .... read it now or you will forever regret it!

Good manga.

The first time I read it, it was awesome. The ending was very very nice, and something of a twist, but that was actually cause you were only expecting a twist.

The second time, it was still good, although I paused several times in completeting it. I read a different translation for the final chapter, and it took away some of the coolness of it: the first 1: "Can you make my heart flutter once more?" Second one: "Can you excite again?" Not as cool.

I have to say, now that I'm thinking back, the series doesn't seem too fun. It seems to me that the ending leaves something of a bad taste in people's mouths, which is why it recieves such bad scores. I personally think that the ending is very nice, although may have been better and different. A real slice of life ending.

The more times that you read this, the worse it'll get, basically. The ecchi is one of those "ha...." things, where it's fun to see but basically feels even more useless than average fan service. The man character is just plain annoying, damn, the indecisiveness the made way too freaking apparent. They added way too many girls in the series, probably 2-3 more girls than the series needed.

Art is awesome, just plain awesome. The mangaka is one of those very beautifully styled artists. Always between B+ to A for this artist, particularly for the girls.

The comedy... as said, is a bit based on the ecchi factor, which sort of sucks. The real laugh out loud moments are few and far between, although they exist.

There's actual romance in the story. Harem-ecchi-romance-comedy mangas are sorta... bad at that, honestly. Everyone in a generic harem-ecchi-romance-comedy is basically some incarnation of Love Hina characters, a general tsunade, but the character development in Ichigo 100 is there. Only satsuki's really a tsunade, and even that's gone later on.

And speaking of satsuki... damn, I hate the author for that. I mean, she never even had a freaking chance, did she?

Great manga with lots of emotions

First time I read this manga i was surprised at the beginning. It was awkward but intriguing. After reading on this became a highly addictive manga. The plot had a great outcome of events. The characters are great characters you really can feel attached to. When a character feels heart broken or cry you will truly feel sad ( i admit to tearing up at times yes im a wuss). This is one of the mangas that i actually thought about throughout my day. In my head it was like who will he choose? I kept thinking about it alot because i felt for the the characters. But since the connection with the characters are very strong you may be sad if your favorite is not chosen at the end. But, because its hard to please fans of all the different choices, the author did a great job trying to make everyone happy. I loved all of them and only wished for multiple endings for each different girl but this ending is still great.

The art in this manga is perfect. Girls are attractive even when their is no ecchi. The ecchi in this manga is at an appropriate level. It is used in a romantic and loving way, not the absurd "everytime i move i jiggle" type of ecchi. It is used at the right time just like relationships have.

I simply love this manga to death. The emotions you get are so strong, anger, excitement, love, sadness, pity, joy, etc. It is just an amazing read for every romantic reader. This author is amazing and this manga is one of my all time favorites. It it a great transitional manga if you just started reading romantic ecchi manga after reading all those action ninja, pirate, shinigami, etc manga.

All in all a truly magnificent read and if your reading these comments just read the manga and Im sure you'll love it.

This story is good read for people who started ecchi and harem genres. It is also good for people who like hopeless romantic story plot.

But from my experience with this genre, this is a so-so. It has slightly odd opening that people won't want to continue reading depending on their views.

But this was good, not great. It's title has represent throughout the story theme but there is always a strange sweetness that almost taste like strawberries at the scenes that might involve the strawberry underwears or the dreams that was shared.

If this story had no content of ecchi, the story would be slightly awkward to work with since it does rely on those scenes to build the character's personality and views. And the terrible meet up that left the incident in their mind.

I'm not comment on the story anymore but it isn't good enough for me to give it a 8. This is good story, but not as I thought it would be.

It leads the reader on believing that a love relationship will finally happen and does a horrible twist. It gives me the taste of dissatifation after I finished this manga. As much as I like plot twists, I can't stand the situation that created it. To me, that part was completely out of place of the story and was add-on to gradually lead the story to a quick finish.

But the plot is wonderful. The dreams and ideals were excellent, making me feel my passion for my dream grow strong.

This is a heartwarming tale about a guy with a girl with similar dreams that takes a quite a big turnabout of their lives.

I would love to present this to people who are new to this genre or love a good romance.

A beautifully written and drawn manga. Put aside the ecchi part, because this is still a magnificent manga even without the ecchi scenes. The twist of plots is just so great. All emotions - happiness, sadness, anger, jealousy etc are blended nicely. Somehow, it makes me realise not to laugh at other people's dreams. Oh, for crybabies out there (I'm not), perhaps a box of tissues is good as the story approaches the ending. Definitely a ten.

the best thing about this manga is that you can't even begin to describe the qualities that make it so great
all you can really do is read it and let the story grab onto your heart.. then at the end you'll understand how powerful it was through your emotions

many elements of the plot moved me... but by far, the most impressive part of this manga is the ending.... it probably has the best resolution ever created for a graphic novel

some faults still lay in it, like the overuse of cliche ecchi scenes..
(the occurrence of them is scarce compared to other romance mangas like to-LOVE-ru and Love Hina)
however.. the unique and touching plot completely covers up these trifle mistakes, which is why I give this series a perfect 10

I hated this manga. the only good point about it is the fact that it is written very well to the point that it can hook you in except from that it was a total disappointment. this manga was the very reason that i came to HATE "harem" genre. the art is likable but the basic concept is simple but the execution of that concept is really terrible. the main character's indecisiveness gets boring and hateful after the first couple of chapters. this manga is terrible and does nothing but leaves a bitter taste at the end. compared to her some of her other works such as Lilim kiss which was totally brilliant but ichigo SUCKS 100% and i think that is an understatement.
