This series is really so funny and cute, I really liked it. Older characters, not only teenagers, not only the same age, not only school or office romance... So refreshing!

My favourite is, when the young "bride" shouts with the grandfather that he will take the grandson with him.

Great read! An interesting experiment. It was different in that I did not expect it to be bara. I've never read bara before, but I really enjoyed these characters. They still seem to be the kind of characters yaoi fan girls love but with bara figures. I loved the shy, larger ukes. Many of these characters were nurturing and kind, which makes them just so adorable. <3 I loved the clash of adorable personality and huge, bulky body. Just right for the odd kind of mood I was in for a comedy that wasn't quite exactly the norm. And maybe because irl, i love men stronger than me that are still nurturing and kind--tehe. Good break from all the yaois that are good for passing time but not unique. [; Loved it! Would have given a higher score, but one-shots can't deliver the kinds of developed characters I love. =9

This is suprising Funny and so LOVELY! I actually know what 'Bara' IS in Yaoi version a few minute ago. Kind of long ago, i didn't really like this type of Bara, it's not like "i didn't like it", but "i afraid and embarrassed to read it". The feeling is like the first time i try to read Yaoi manga. But from long time ago, i already like the type of Oyaji Uke (lol). And this manga is kinda or indeed grouped with Oyaji Uke. That's why now i can read and like it! Thanks for Soredewa Minasan work by the same author. Because that manga, i can love to read manga works by UCHIDA Kaoru.

Cant say this is excellent, its not sorry D: but it it amusing and as is common in this mangaka's works she targets older men as uke's (lol hairy older men in particular i've noticed). I enjoyed it but its not the best collection of short stories ive seen, they were all fairly shallow and predictable, nothing shocking or amazingly interesting. I guess to pass the time its ok.
No doubt, this is BARA

And an amazing one at that!
This was the first bara that I ever read, and I've become a fan of both yaoi and bara.
This is one of my favorite baras, it's cute, hilarious, and it's extremely hot. The thing is you have to actually like what bara is, if you don't like masculine, realistic men together, you should NOT read this. If you do like masculine, realistic men together then this is a must read! This isn't Uchida Kaoru's only bara, so she has other great baras to read! Hope that people enjoy this amazing piece of artwork!

well not much to say, it's either you like it either you don't. muscular men, hairy assholes (sorry for the details but i want you to be prepared !), oh and there was this crippled men with a foot looking like a charred old root (i was like : " huh ? what the f*ck is this ? is this like in the lord of the rings ? a walking tree ! ah it's just his foot ! okay !" ). the sex scenes are first class ones *winks*.
i usually don't dig very manly men (*hates shaggy men*) but there the art was so pretty, the bodies so hot, the faces so beautifull and manly and yet so cute that i took a liking to BEARS ! yeah, bears are tasty ! to hell with the twinks !
i loved the last story, it was moving, and i like when a lover can make choices and stick with his lover even if his family is against is. sorry i'm such a romantic ! and it was funny like hell : "what , son, have you lost your mind what are u doing with this bearded gorilla ? but grand father isn't he the cuttest FEMALE gorilla ever ?"
have fun riding these hot stories.

Reading this, I had the feeling the mangaka was experimenting with drawing really manly looking characters - all huge muscles, solid bodies, beards & hair all over..... Or maybe it was meant to be satirical?
Either way, it was really strange reading sweetly romantic, yaoi stories, drawn with such bara-esque characters.
Worth reading for the experience.

Well, I think it's bara... probably... and the mangaka doesn't hid any, erm, details... it's pretty good if you like that kind of stuff (muscular men, body hair, bara in general, etc.). DO NOT read if your a yaoi fangirl like me (not good for the yaoi heart), but if you enjoy bara and bara-ish kinds of stuff, go for it! So as i said on the subject bar, it all depends on your tastes
