I find it hard to believe this is the same author as Northern Blade and God of War.
It starts off decent with the fight to survive and the events before the time skip. Minus the one part where...
The time skip like others have pointed out is just trash. MC looks like the one girl that died, Lee Min. It's just lazy writing so the author doesn't have to worry about anyone recognizing the MC and have to write around that so poof new look.
Also what's the MC's beef with Qingcheng? I mean.

The Saint from Qingcheng sect asks MC if he can atone and the MC mocks him ect ect and tosses MC into the snake pit. Just seem a lame attempt by the author to give asspull power-up to the MC.

They're basically the injured party even though that one guy the MC killed was a scumbag. MC even fulfilled the mission by following through assassinating the scumbag guy. Basically doing what those that kidnapped him and tortured him for 7 years wanted him to do. Just a stupid plot when it comes to that.

The webtoon version SKIPPED and ALTERED parts to the protagonist's story, but it would not matter if it's your first time reading this. The art is superb, action is fire, and the plot is heavy. The characters are unique, but the main character really makes this story shine. I will have to say that his appearance become very androgynistic later on. He becomes sexier than any female character in this webtoon. If him looking like that does not bother you guys then by all means enjoy!

I was literally blown away by the 1st arc cuz the art was extremely gorgeous,badass MC, interesting story.Overall A10/10 no doubt about it
But then they just had to fu** it all up by turning MC into a effeminate,hell he looks more feminine than the actual female characters 🤮
If that wasn't the worst part in the recent chapter he visits a bar & the people their actually made a bet that he is actually a crossdressing women which triggered the MC so he killed em all,WoW what a way for an assassin to keep his identity a secret

The first arc was actually really good and enjoyable until the most recent chapters where a ton was skipped and the MC suddenly looks like a woman. I don't know what they were thinking when they were adapting this and decided to throw away everything the readers were staying for and do their own thing.
I highly recommend if you like shounen action with murim/martial arts and such. Art took some time to get used to but it's great and the action scene is pretty dope! Story is decent so far.
