Honestly speaking, I really did like Vampire Knight, some time two years ago. The gorgeous Vampires and art stunned me, as well as the interesting plot. It was my addiction, but I suppose Vampire Knight got swallowed by all the hype and popularity it was having that it forgot the story. Some of the now boring plot points ("twists", if you speak highly of them) are put together in the most unimaginative way possible.

But I held on even after that. There was still hope that that was just one of the worst parts of the manga. I still had faith in this manga. But after that it was still like a snowball rolling down a hill. At first it's slow, but as it gains more snow it rolls faster and faster downhill. Yuki's quirkiness disappeared, and she continues to side with Kaname over and over again, even out of Reason's reach. She's passive and boring, and I swear, nothing happens. Ever. More and more problems pop up, but none of them are being solved. I don't even know why Kaname and Zero are fighting half the time (okay, I do, but...honestly, I'm just reading and suddenly..What? They're fighting now?). Can we have the old "better" Vampire Knight, or can we just have vampires camping around fires, singing songs, jumping over rainbows (and the moon), and generally just a happy end to all this gloom?

I swear, I'm mad at VK like it's my kid or something. Ugh. Though I can forgive, I suppose. And I just realized that my grammar is atrocious. I swear it's because I'm mad...

This manga should have ended with chapter 46 then that would be a legendary end & a perfect memory for all readers but nooo they let it linger and become meaningless and stupid.

...why is the story not making sense anymore?! I thought it was really good in the beginning but the story keeps on dragging on and on with people trying to kill each other, then that very person disappears all of a sudden, you know, somehow, it's making the story very complicated. I can keep track of the story in the beginning but now? I don't even know what the heck is going on anymore. Sara seems like an irritating character to me, why can't they just get rid of her? Not to forget that the translations seems a bit off and making me even more confused! Argh. I hope it gets better in the end!

I was obsessively in love with this manga - At first, a big fan. But now? Seriously? After the tension I felt up when I read this at first, the sensation was different than any of those shoujos I've read. Things messed up after the season 2 of the anime ended and continued in the manga. It'll be good if it's ended quickly. Don't prolong over something that actually has been really good, it makes things worsen. This story is getting complicated but the ending is already predictable.

I'm just disappointed.

Kaname and Zero, what kind of devil has gotten in both of yourselves? I can't get through Yuuki's idiocracy and so do Sara ( the most UNIMPORTANT character ever)

I LOVED this series. I couldn't wait for new releases, but now I'm extremely fed up by the whole thing. It was so captivating in the beginning that i would become so anxious at the thought of new releases, but NOW I want it to end. I mean where is this going right now. I think that it's been dragged out waay too long.

Don't get me wrong. The story line the characters and the art are all really fantastic. It takes your emotions on a roller coaster ride (a good thing) but the later chapters just seem so... forced. Just bring it to a conclusion already!!

I was captivated at first..but now, the later chapters..well I simply cannot understand the plotline, its too confusing, the story is developing either too fast, or too slow, the scenes arent that well connected, everytime i read the newest chapter its as its a totaly new story, with occuring characters..i'm annoyed at this manga, it was really promising..so sad that it should get a 6 rating.

At first, I was captivated by the story. It was the first vampire manga that I read and by far, the best. The plot is unique in its own way, and it focused on the main characters.

However, as the manga continues, the storyline gets complicated. Personally, I find it difficult to understand and catch up. The monthly update, makes it harder to understand. I'd have to reread the previous chapters to understand what the new chapter is going on about.

It also jumps from scenes to scenes keeping people in suspension and all the more complicated.

I do not find this manga bad, but I would be glad if the complications could clear up soon.

For now, i'll give it an 8

Im not really attracted to vampires and all that stuff, but after watching this anime and now reading the manga, I am amazed! The most beautiful character I have ever seen is Kaname. Good work, Hino, for creating something so gorgeous like him and the story altogether!
