it's a nice shoujo, maybe typical but with some nice elements. The girl is independent, a bit indifferent and a hard worker + talented, while the guy is our everyday shoujo prince.
But. Fact is that our main lead isn't the heroine - it's the guy. And that's another element that makes "Last game" interesting. There are some sweet little bits that make it different from the usual shoujo, but all in all it's not that different.

This is TOTALLY what I look for in a shoujo story: childhood friends, cute rivalry, love denial... You can even say it's like Special A, except it's the guy who is second place now xD
I love all the blushing and what is revealed at the end of every chapter to keep you wanting more. ♥♥
Now if only the English tranlations were grammatically correct...
