Art: 10
Story: 2
I like this dude Benjamin, only if he would pair up with someone that can write.
His manhuas are nothing more than beautiful paintings page after page. But if you try to read the text you'll spoil the feeling.
All his work is a big pile of depression, if you look at his manhua list there's none that doesn't get the Drama genre. I'm not sure if that's what's asked of him, or if he's incapable of writing something remotely positive. He draws bright colors but writes dark text.
Orange is no exception, you finish reading and you wish you never started and just took you time admiring the pretty pictures. Thing is, it's too short and abstract to get attached to the characters, so even the drama fails here. I'm only giving it a 2 because he probably put some effort into it, but the manhua would've been better with no text at all.

I found this very interesting.

What attracted me first to this was the art. It looks really pretty and dreamy, full of swirling colors that mesh together to form urban scenes in this girl's life. Of course, if you look at the categories this manga is tagged under, you'll see that this is not at all supposed to be a "cheerful school girl's life". I actually find this to be more similar to hong kong movies in the way that it depicts her life. It's definitely worth a read.
