Description
Lee Hyeon-woo’s had a parade of terrible ex-boyfriends, with his most recent ex dumping him in favor of a marriage to advance his career. Tired of his wretched love life and in need of some space, Hyeon-woo moves out of the city to the countryside. He’s only planning to stay there for a while until he’s recovered from his broken heart, but then he meets stoic farmer boy Kim Do-won. Hyeon-woo doesn’t mean to get mixed up with Do-won, especially when he knows it won’t last, but things rarely ever go his way…

I love this comic so far! There's a lot of subtlety and nuance in his early attraction! No words, just elongated glances and embarrassment. I'm hooked!
Omg the narrator is what makes this series a read for me. Like the 3rd person storytelling here idk it just flows really well? The narrator sounds like one of those low sounding monotonous voice but is oozing with sarcasm. Something that'll fit a Wes Anderson movie hahaha
On the site that I read this manhwa on, a lot of people were pissy about how Uke only falls in love with people he can pity… but I think it's not as bad as y'all say. Like, who are you to judge what love should and shouldn't look like? It's different for every person. Being problematic is human. We all can’t be perfect so I wont judge hyeon-woo. It actually makes the story more realistic
Chapter 12: It's nice so far. Its nice to see them be so affectionate with each other! Author is treating the characters quite well. Putting forth the flaws and shortcomings only makes me wanna know how he's gonna overcome them. Pretty enjoyable so far. The way they talk in this chapter feels raw and natural. Especially with the Hyeon woo wound his legs around dowon and pulls him.
I can see people doing or talking like this irl. I just gained more appreciation for this Manhwa.
It feels like an indie movie in the making.
It's nice when the characters have realistic qualities and shortcomings.. yaois are often very cliché
Chapter 17: HELP MEEE THIS CHAPTER OS MY FAVE. THEYRE SO FCKING FUNNY BAHAHAHAH THEY BEAT THE SHT OUT OF THE EX IM DEAD
Side stories: Nawww wtaf. this is not cute at all...it had potential to be a good side-story but I don't know why majority of the mangas romanticize rape...like do they get off on it? I know we hated the doctor and the other guy had potential but not like this.
The Uke’s ex literally got r*ped, he was a shithead but didn't deserve to get r*ped no one deserve to get r*ped.
I fcking hate when authors excuse what is very clearly r*pe by making the person who got r*ped say "it wasnt actually that bad, it was enjoyable" afterwards. Like, let's not be stupid here, this is very obviously sending a very bad message that being r*ped =good as long as you enjoyed it. The author just wants to portray someone getting r*ped forcefully as something hot and then as an excuse, makes the person who got r*ped "enjoy it" as if suddenly it makes everything okay. IT DOES NOT.
Yeah i still don’t like that Choi was blackmailed and raped and it just gets played off 🙃

Funny and cute! I like the characters. Kinda short and sweet but an easy read. I give this a 7.5, but would have rated this higher if the side stories/the side couple weren't so toxic (like, I can handle some toxicity, but some lines were crossed with that couple 💀)

Very cute and heartwarming story. All characters were interesting, no toxic interactions, plot was simple, but not boring. I recommend it was nice evening read.
Ahhhh!! I really wish the author would have continued the story of the second couple. For a debut BL work, it's really sold for the most part.
