Pretty interesting

You know the usual villainess trope? Yeah, this is a story where the heroine is the fmc instead but she has no intention to play out the same as the game, where she attends school with a villainess and love targets. She's denying her fate, the story is set way before the otome game even takes place, the pacing is actually pretty slow showcasing the fmc growth. A random girl realized this is the world of the otome game and tried to take fmc body so she can become the heroine, but the fmc retaliated and escaped then pretty much went on her adventure to become strong enough to deny her fate as an otome game heroine. The art is pretty typical decent quality of an average isekai/fantasy manga, the characters are a little inconsistent (appearance wise), i think it has to do with the story pacing. Like when the fmc did something then move right away to another place to do a job, the characters that appeared before in the previous don't really get mentioned or reappeared again. The updates is a bit slow so maybe the characters will appear in later chapters? Also i think this is the first manga that i've read that has more than 1 villainess, and the fmc is pretty cool and badass how she doesn't depend or let someone pampers her because it'll hinders her growth.

TL;DR
Story of which the heroine of an otome game is the fmc instead of a villainess, the heroine has no intention of following the game and wants to live her own life and deny her fate. She went on to become an adventurer and went to places to do her jobs and at the same time to train her skills and abilities. I'd recommend this for anyone that wants to see an independent badass fmc that starts out with zero to growing stronger chapter by chapter.

Really great series. Subverts isekai fantasy. Great characters and worldbuilding

Reviewed @ch19 (end of vol 4)
This series is far better than I expected. I began reading it because someone posted a couple of the more wholesome pages on reddit, so I had totally different expectations.

This is an isekai series, but we don't follow the isekai character. Instead we follow the original heroine, who has a major personality shift when she receives parts of an isekaied Earth person's memories (and, possibly, parts of her personality? I expect that'll be explored down the line) Which means from the get-go we know people have isekaied to this world at various times. But our MC is not one of them.

This series so far has at least 2 very bad-ass characters, and fortunately our MC is one of them.

The world-building is great. There's some litrpg but we're also told fairly early 'the numbers can be misleading, don't trust them'. And the way that skills like appraise are picked up are interesting and feel organic.
The world as a whole feels very organic, possibly because we're following a native.

This series is dark. It's dark fantasy, frequent action, occasional bits of levity and even wholesomeness. Many great and interesting characters
The art is perfect. I'm very tempted to NOT read the novels (I suspect we're up to book 2 of novels in adaptation) and just wait for this manga to continue (it's been licensed) .
I also frankly expect an anime adaptation of this in the coming years, because it's that good.

This series also has very precocious child characters, at least 4 so far, but in the world it feels very logical, as they each have their reasons (well, the most recent one isn't explained, yet). Kinda like Ender's Game, in a way.

An interesting premise with some interesting characters overall it would be like a 9/10 but it has a few short comings so far. With the plot progression it feels like some things are forgotten pretty quick and a bit rushed. I won't go into details but it kinda feels like each "arc" is like an entire otome manga condensed into a volumeish size. Not the worst thing but as a result the overarching plot has been like completely abandoned at least for now.
