This has to be one of the funniest and yet serious stories I've come across. Still...
Has he even figured out yet how to eat a banana yet?

This manhwa is truly enjoyable when you just want to see light, but fun, humor and some utter humiliation for despicable characters, but at no point it deserves an ideal rating.
Main problem with this manhwa is that it is repetitiveness in every way.
Most of the first half is spent introducing new characters in completely identical ways
Speaking about jokes, they are repeated over and over again with the same formula “said something silly”+ “awkward silence”=laugh.
Characters are very varied, but too often they receive the same old Naruto & Co treatment. They are introduced, colored and showed aside. Really, there are human kids who leave more of impression of pets that are kept for enjoyment and nothing else, they show up to entertain everyone and then get lost. They play utterly no role of importance in the story other then entertaining the godly vampire.
As I said in the beginning this is light manhwa with predictable plot twists, but the story because of its lightness is very enjoyable, but at no point it is perfect and at no point it deserves a 10.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the introductions of the white haired vampire pair and the pair from Korean national security was almost identical, and even before that it had already been used
, though I did enjoy it, but it is a cheat to reuse the same introduction method like an old joke even when keeping periods between them.Speaking about jokes, they are repeated over and over again with the same formula “said something silly”+ “awkward silence”=laugh.

Not everyone might want to read this story. It has good points and bad, much like the others stated.
This story has a long start, that was boring at first. It began to get better as the story went, with it's plot thickening. At first the art was awesome with detailed male leads (which are a lot of them), but around chapter 210, the artwork began to get less detailed. This might because it's updated weekly so there a shortage of time, or the lack of work. I don't really care much now than it first started since I'm used to it.
As well the art lacking around 200 chapters, that where the back story shows. At first, there wasn't much back story into this, but after reading many chapters, there was.
The main lead began as the strongest; but unlike others, he doesn't show it till it's needed. He gives the others a chose wherever he interferes with the others. He lets others have their own path, and doesn't bother unless it's harming someone that isn't him. Rai is one of my favorite characters because of these facts. He doesn't interact much, but watches from afar.
Franky, or Frankstein, is another one. He has a mix personally that shines wherever he's in a fight. He's loyal to Rai, it shows throughout the story.
The jokes aren't the adult type, it's well placed and new than other stories. It's mostly about the characters' peeves, rules, and knowledge (Franky being mad because his house is ruin). It's funny that will make you giggle throughout the story.
All I can say, this story is different to everyone who reads it. This story is long, so you better have patient (which I don't have much of but I still read it). I almost dropped it two times, but it was short and I began again.

Noblesse started out funny and interesting with an intriguing plot that showed a lot of promise. I liked that the main character was strong from the start. His interactions with Frankenstein, the students and how the enemy always underestimated him were amusing. The art in the beginning was really pretty and detailed...now not so much. It was one of the great things about this webtoon, what happened? Noblesse has become repetitive and boring, with dragged out fighting scenes and lack of character growth.

At first, when I read the first few chapters, I dropped it.
But a few months afterwards I gave it another try, because so many people loved it. And this manga completely surpassed my expectations!
Even though Cadis Etrama Di Raizel (Rai) is like the strongest being on earth, he doesn't go around just killing all his enemies, if he did, this story would be over long ago. I just love stoic characters like his that say some funny things (without realising themselves) with a serious tone (It's hilarious and cute...).
I Love all the main characters, even like a few of the antagonists.
I usually HATE misunderstandings in a manga (Manhua, Webcomic, etc.), but for this story it just added to it's charm.
If you're the kind of person who decides not to read a manga if it's not interesting in the beginning, then break that rule for this awesome webcomic, You won't be disappointed, I'm sure.

What makes this manhwa special and draws me to love it (and maybe most reader) is Cadis Etrama Di Raizel and Frankenstain's personality. As for the plot and story, there are a lot manga/manhwa like this. It really is the two main chara are the charm in this manhwa.
The Elegance of the Noblesse

The number one reason I read Noblesse: Cadis Etrama Di Raizel.
Never, in all my years of reading all genres of fiction novels, short stories, epic poems, mangas, etc, or in all the movies or shows I've watched, have I ever seen such a self-sacrificing, loyal, and absolutely astounding show of character as I've seen in Noblesse. Here you've got the most powerful being on the whole planet from the get-go, who only uses his power at the last minute to protect those who care for him, and also to punish those who abuse their power even when it pains him to do so.
I can't write enough praise about Rai so... Frankenstein, his servant, is the second reason I read this. His devotion to Rai is awesome, and he's super powerful and wonderfully sadistic... really the opposite of his master.
The other characters are great too, even the "regular" human kids. I love the story and the plot. There's the traditional nobles on the 'good' side and the up-and-coming Union on the 'bad' side, though neither are really good nor bad.
It's not a mainstream shounen, but it is a shounen. Again, the MC is the most powerful guy on the planet, so he easily destroys those in his way. But he doesn't want to, he doesn't scream and yell about it, and it hurts him.
There are some flashbacks, but what makes them so great is they're just long enough for the reader to understand more about the present but yet not get bored with and stuck in the past. Some even only last a few panels, but much is told with just those few.
And the last bit of why this is my absolute favorite manga/manwha/etc is the humor. It's original, all of the characters show a bit of it, and it's fairly clean. It also comes at unexpected moments. Humor is a must for me and Noblesse does a fantastic job of delivering it.
Also... this is the ONLY manga/manwha I have completely read more than once. ^^
edit: Shounen is only as good as its length. I really loved this series years ago but it needs to end! Rai is still awesome and the art is beautiful but this webtoon is past its prime. Even the most loyal fans get worn down from repetitive fighting.

I first tried reading very soon after it came out, the impression that it left wasn't very good, so I dropped it for awhile. It was after it built up to about a hundred or so chapters when I got bored, and decided to give this another go. Frankly, I got hooked, and have been following this series devotedly ever since.
The one thing that I can never-pin point with this manwha is why like it. If you asked me: Is the plot deep and original. I'd say: no. Is the characters original I'd also say: no. But I would say that there is a certain charm. Character stereotypes are put into situations and places where they normally wouldn't be. Humour is dropped when you'd least expect it. All in all it's fun, and difficult to get bored off.
A note to latest chapters:
I agree with comments saying that artwork has gone down hill since the beginning. It's high point was in the second and third seasons (imo). It might have something to do with the artist and author taking short breaks between seasons and starting a new series called "Ability". However I maintain a hope the art will go back to it's golden days.

I normally avoid manga made for guys, being a girl, it simply isn't targeted at me and I often find them slightly offensive due to how female characters are almost always portrayed. However, I was bored, had nothing to read and needed to get out of the real world. And Noblesse showed itself to me. I love how it takes the piss, and how unbelievably bad-ass some of the characters are, (it makes me feel like a fan girl.) I love how funnily insane other characters are and that no matter how serious the story is at the time is always manages to slip something in there that makes you grin. It is also exciting and something I cnan re-read. I love how the baddies they meet aren't always all that evil and that although it is predictable, it has so many redeeming qualities that it is still a good read. I wish it was an anime as well, because now I have to wait for the chapters to update and I have to find something else to read.

Like others have said before me, this web toon isn't for everyone. The majority do enjoy it though, as I am one of them. The people who rate Noblesse so high are obviously enchanted by it's charm but again not for everyone. If it's not for you, it's fine if you stop reading, just don't be that guy who ruins everyone's fun by critiquing something that is for pure entertainment.
