Gross age gap

There’s nothing cute about 13 and 26 age gap. It’s weird how everyone in the story friends and family just goes alone with it. Tried to be cute but a child body and a adult body is really uncomfortable to see especially in intimate scenes.
A cute romantic story

A teacher & student fall in love as they live together. It was funny and cute.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Towards the end, it got a little dark. Otome meets this girl who falls for her. The girl finds out about her relatioship with Minato. She basically blackmails Otome into letting her taking nudes of her and letting her grope her so she doesn't tell anyone about their relationship.
The ending was a happy one, but also a little confusing. It shows after she graduated college that she meets up with Minato again, but she's not living with her mom. She's living with Minato's family. The special shows that Minato and Otome meet after she graduates highschool and leaves her mom and they start living together. I guess she moves out again to go to college and lives with Minato's family, but it shows her calling Minato and it says home. So maybe she would see her in regular intervals while attending. Again, happy ending, but confusing.

It's a comfy, slice of life, romance between two females. The first two volume stay with this atmosphere until the last volume (volume 3) where the story took an unnecessary drama with a lot of "rushed" development that could've been exposed better.
The multiple time skips along with bringing in a lot characters that are barely familiar with the readers made the journey to the ending frustrating. Note that this happened within 3 chapters... After reading volume 3's afterword, the last few chapters became more concrete. However, if the author had to rely on the afterword to clear up confusion for the readers, then it's just a badly narrated ending. The ending for the plot itself was not bad but the narration to reach the ending was bad.
Would've been a 9/10 but the retarded drama introduced near the end and the poorly narrated ending shot it down to an 7.

While Otome keeps saying that she'll be faithful to her sensei, I thought that Otome accepting near-oral sex from another female was not faithful at all. Sure that Otome was blackmailed, but she didn't even hesitate to accept the near-oral sex. In fact, after the oral sex, Otome even told the other female "let me embrace you more." I thought that if the author had introduced this type of development, then the author should've explored her blackmailed infidelity or feelings more. But he just threw it in for one chapter without touching that subject afterwards. What's the point of even throwing in such unnecessary development?

I would love to say that I loved reading this, but as the story progressed it didn't really seem to pay off very much. I would have loved to see the intimate parts of their relationship, even if that would be just a little bit more of heartfilled cuddling. It's like we're constantly told that they love each other but it's not really there?
But apart from that I really liked it and it was a nice read.
I was confused by the ending though. Was there two different ones drawn or did I misunderstand? I don't know. But the rest was great!

Am i the only one to think it was kind of boring? Well, at least if you expect some maturity from this manga. It never becomes a real comedy or a real drama. It's just some mushy aimed-to-look-cute story. I couldn't get through the third chapter : (
Gorgeous love story.. NOT pervy despite the pairing

NOTE: it's NOT exactly lolicon by any common standard. the dominant, leading, more mature, and more reliable partner just happens to be 2.5 times younger at the beginning.
Love/hate the ending. It's such a powerful subversion of an old illicit romance trope, one especially prevalent in Japanese shoujo ai stuff.
Btw... what's so yuri about this? It's a heartwarmingly cute romance spanning like a decade, not a steamy snapshot of teacher/student sex. Jeez.

She's not supposed to come back, the best we're supposed to hope for in these cases is longing, a half-forgotten surreal promise, and "...", but... she DOES.
Me, I was just sorry they had to wait so damn long... maybe that's just me and waiting, though. As with many such things, it's soooo romantic (until you actually try it),

I love all his stories and Hoshikawa wasn't the exception. Of course, this is a Kurogane and Yuri fan talking. If you aren't familiar to the first and/or second maybe this isn't for you. Maybe the "lolicon thing" isn't for you too, but if you focused in the relationship itself you will see the cutest and beautiful love that grow between them.

I really liked this manga. The story was cute and heartwarming, I fell in love with the main characters. It was interesting to see how their relationship slowly developed over time and became stronger after various trials. Was a little confusing at times but after flipping back a few pages and reading over it made complete sense. Seemed like it was cut short at the end but if I'm not mistaken it will be continued. Overall it was really good and worth the read, I hope to see more from this artist.
There are quite a few great chapters, but mixed among them are many that just don't make a whole lot of sense. Another problem with this series is that there were a whole lot of unanswered questions at the end; I mean I need more than 2 hands to count the amount of paths untraveled. What I guess I'm trying to say is... that it was great while it lasted, but could have been so much greater.
