I'm glad I read reviews first, so I was expecting an imperfect story. I was able to enjoy this for what it is without getting too invested.
My main complaint is that their feelings seem to come out of nowhere and don't always make sense. I wonder if the novel goes into more depth and the webtoon is skipping over things?
I'm a sucker for MCs getting rescued, so that alone would have kept me interested. But Toma is the real star here—he's so cute! The romantic relationship can take a back seat, that's fine with me.
I haven't read the conclusion as the official English isn't finished releasing, but it feels like it's wrapping up okay. If it's a bit unsatisfying, that will be par for the course, nbd for me.

Kenta is the most precious of them all, cuter than the kid and a badass too. So plus 4 points for Kenta alone and +1 for his green eyes 💚
Btw I have exactly the same sense of humour as Show and it's a blast 🥰

As previously stated, it's definitely unresolved. (The manhua).
I've never read the novel, so I'm sure it's more flushed out in that, but the illustrated version must have lost a lot in translation.
Daichi's feelings are really all over the place. Him liking joon essentially comes out of nowhere, then he denies it, then he doesn't, then he does again, then he doesn't again. With zero reasoning to the flip flopping.
His wife was killed. They've been hunting down the people who've done it. The end, never mentioned or resolved.
His mother was killed and it hints his father died of weird causes as well. Joon is told to ask daichi about it. He doesn't. This plot never gets resolved.
His grandfathers personality is all over the place. And he refers to the grandmother as if it has special meaning. This isn't explained or resolved.
Joons ex was involved with a rival group from the sounds of it? This never gets resolved.
Characters are introduced and never appear again despite having storylines set up for them.
Joon makes crazy sacrifices towards the end but none of that is acknowledged and it kinda gets ignored.
The last handful of chapters are VERY rushed and don't make much sense timeline wise. And then the last couple chapters are seemingly just one offs.
In all, it seems like significant portions of the original novel were cut in order to make the series fit a certain length, but then they realised towards the end they didn't cut enough and ended up with a story that jumps all over the place.

Didn't feel like the main conflict was resolved

The overall story is funny and has likeable characters, but a lot of parts feel somewhat unfinished or unresolved. Things are brought up towards the beginning or middle and don't really meet any sort of resolution.
One example is the introduction of a character who becomes Toma's/Thomas' English teacher, who is apparently not in the novel. He shows up and seems to be interested in Minjun romantically after he mistakenly witnesses/hears (he doesn't walk in) Minjun and Daiki having sex. Later, he has an erotic dream about Minjun. But then he just disappears from the story and never comes back a few chapters after this. No mention from the other characters about him, he just isn't part of the story anymore.
Another is the conflict with a rival gang?
A lot of the events that happen feel kind of like for the sake of something happening. The story gives more a slice of life kind of vibe than having anything to do with yakuza involvement. Towards the end, a lot of things are a bit repetitive, like Minjun leaving Toma's side in the middle of the night to have sex with Daiki and sleep in his bed, only for Toma to wake up the next morning upset because of it. Toma brings this up several times to Minjun and Minjun keeps doing it. The sex scenes are also kind of really repetitive and just kind of there for the sake of smut. The drama is also predictable and kind of more between Minjun and Daiki for conflict and resolution purposes than anything else.
The one thing that did make things a bit difficult is that the manhwa ends up translated by SO many different people and changes translators randomly throughout the entire thing that I'm sure that caused some details to be obscured or omitted entirely that were relevant to the plot.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
It's mentioned that Toma's mother was killed by a rival gang. Daiki has a strong drive to kill everyone from that rival gang. But the story kind of ends without that being resolved, either. At some point, it really isn't mentioned and fades out of the story.
