Description
Official English: INKR
From TokyoPop (based on volume 1):
MBQ is about life. It's about people. It's about the extraordinary in the everyday. Some of it's going to thrill you, some of it's going to make you cry, some of it's going to make you cringe, and some of it is going to make you die laughing.
Omario is a struggling comic book artist who doesn't want to draw what everyone else is drawing. He doesn't want to draw super heroes, or cutesy little monsters, or zombies, or werewolves. But he also needs to get his rent paid. What's a guy to do?
But this story is not a diatribe on the state of ... More...

But this story is not a diatribe on the state of the comics industry. This particular rant is the whirlwind that is occurring in Omario alone. It seems like everyone else around him is buckling down and serving their time in the hard life while they work toward their dream.
Jeff is grinding away at the MBQ while he's writing his screenplay. Brian is slaving at the karaoke place while he's mixing his beats. But not that everyone's dream is exactly glowing. Dee is looking to squeeze cash out of all the little underworld pukes in the Westside, and Officer Adian O'Malley has nothing to prove to anyone but himself.
There are all sorts of people cruising through MBQ looking for the thing that makes their life complete. Some find it, some don't. You just got to read it to find out. Less...
