Guess I was expecting too much

When I read the first chapter I was expecting great things of Naruse, so I didn't really like the ending. Dang, he turned out to be a decent guy after all! Age really does change people I guess. I hate the media. I don't find what Naruse does wrong. I don't understand Nakata. I really liked Naruse even though he wasn't the main character and this time I don't like the main character of a manga I like.

This was a very great story. I liked how the main character, Nakata, slowly revealed more and more about Naruse. The most outstanding part of this story was, in my opinion, the characterisation: the characters were very believable; flawed, but still unique and strong (I especially loved Azuma Reiko in this story).
The ending was shocking and unexpected, but very suitable for the story - bitter-sweet and realistic.
I recommend this story to anyone who wants a realistic portrayal of the cruel and cold show-biz world.

this story was sad (which is a good thing!)...it's a great little story...it used it's few pages quite well actually! you get to know the characters quite much even if the story is short....it felt longer than what it is
the ending was quite unexpected! and i agree that its thought provoking....some things that the writer said were deep, and made you ponder about things.....very good!

This was a very touching story. The last chapter was unexpected. I think the ending was well thought out and fit the premise of the story. There is a lot of deep meaning in this story and I would recommend reading it. It really is a thought provoking story.

A confusing story but very touching as well. Didn't exactly like the ending, but was satisfied with it. It felt bittersweet..how the story ended..
