I never thought of checkin' rightstuf. But i'm sure they wouldn't hold manga from that long ago. I even have manga that isn't listed, that i've seen so far, on this site, haha.

Evenmy comic book store, who carried it, didn't even remember, lol. But those guys didn't work there at the time, so I wouldn't expect them to remember, ha.

Does she weild a sword, any nudity? I think it must be it. Even the cover looks very familiar to me, except that I don't think it was published by darkhorse at the time.

sword is not needed, it's more the nudity i'm after, which someone i read online said it had fan service... so it must be what i'm looking for... relativly same art style as well.

Yeah, there's nudity and fanservice. No swords. Art style not like Manabe's at all if you ask me. I think you may have been conflating two series, but this is probably one of them.

This is most likely the series I was talkin' aboot. As it was published in 92 in japan, and 98 over here. The cover looks famaliar, but the sword play I could have just been thinkin' in my head, since I've read lotsa manga seen lotsa anime, and it's been 10 years since I've actually seen this comic, haha.
