America. Paranoid as always. You know, they send gundams in thier packages and try to conquer the world with it
They treat other countries really bad, they want Germany to cut down their export to help the american economy; they fight in the near East and now they ban packages.... what´s with them? England has also terrorism but they don´t act like that. They make normal provisons like obersavtion cameras everywhere and removing most of the bins in London to avoid bin bombing.
I'm not sure how observation cameras being
everywhere is clearly less paranoid than restrictions on packages. The restrictions on package size are ridiculous, but I'm not a fan of citywide cameras, either - they're generally ineffective at preventing crimes, and at a cost to privacy. Moreover, not having public garbage bins in a city as big as London sounds like quite an inconvenience, much more so than restrictions on shipment size for companies too small to have regular dealings with their national postal service.
Overall, I agree that the British do a much better job of taking things in stride, but they've dealt with regular terrorist attacks (from both the IRA and other groups) for decades, whereas the U.S. has only experienced a few terrorist attacks, and generally larger in scale. A handful of deaths on an annual basis over a couple decades will partially inure the public to such news, while the same number of deaths in a singular incident will lead to dramatic public reaction; such is human nature (unfortunately).
