Feels like a rip off but it isn't.
The only thing that is similar is the gather people and force them to kill each other, other then that it is COMPLETELY different.
First book was good.
The rest.. don't bother reading it.
Suzanne Collins is a fantastic writer but Catching Fire and Mockingjay felt a bit (very) lacking.

And the Night Angel trilogy isn't even remotely similar to the Hunger Games, why's it even mentionedconfused smh...

Night gathers, and now my watch begins. It shall not end until my death. I shall take no wife, hold no lands, father no children. I shall wear no crowns and win no glory. I shall live and die at my post. I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the fire that burns against the cold, the light that brings the dawn, the horn that wakes the sleepers, the shield that guards the realms of men. I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.

I liked the first book too. Second book was meh, could have been better...but I absolutely HATED the ending. It was just so...depressing..even though there was supposed to be "hope" and "new beginnings".
Suzanne Collins is a good writer though. Her writing style flows well, and it connects well with english fiction lovers.
