It's really not that hard to just look up the titles you want on amazon.com. =/ I do it all the time.

You could say that for everything on this site. xD

It's an information site, the purpose is to bring the latest information here to save people from running around the internet. Though it focuses on scanlations, when I think about it, it's a little surprising that it doesn't show how far publishers have released. I wouldn't say individual licensed releases in the way scanlations are done is at all necessary, but changing the publisher field to show how many volumes have been published, that a fan of a series can file an update for every now and then would be fairly useful.

There are quite a few manga that have been released by publishers, but remain untouched entirely by the scanlation community. It would be particularly useful here.

More info isn't always better.
What I don't understand is how adding it would "make the site look a bit better". I think it'd do the opposite. I hate clutter, waste of space.
I agree with the second half of the sentence though. It would make the site "be a [teeny, tiny] bit better".

If space is an issue, the Licensed (in English) and Completely Scanlated? fields can be removed completely.

Well I have decided to do what solkari suggested and just add the info next to the name of the english publisher and have already done a large portion of the licensed series on this site already.

Also if there are any licensed manga that i have yet to update with this info and anybody would like to know how much is out from that publisher and for me to update this info for that series and such, you can just PM me about it if you want, as I do plain on updating them all (man its a alot of work though, but I'm just crazy enough to do it...sadly).

You just have to go to the series info and click "show only licensed series" and work you way through there. There's around like 1900 licensed series that you can fiddle with, so go ahead.

It's a neat enough of an idea, but this is going to change as publishers decide to do their own things with the series. It's true that they may hold the license for it but that doesn't mean they will keep going with the series in the future. This means whoever updates this info has to be really up to date, and that's a lot of pain.

Also, Licensed (in English) and Completely Scanlated? are not useless as they do function as filters as well as being informative. User reviews and Activity stats are more useless on the info page compared to them.

Licensed (in English) is followed by a field stating the English Publisher, so obviously if there is one then the answer is yes. Completely Scanlated? follows Latest Release(s) and Status in Country of Origin, so again, all it does is state the obvious. Like I said, if space was an issue, neither needs to be visible.
