kung fu hustle is in my dvd collection. a really good movie cool i started watching it and it was set on english dub. not very nice. no prefer to watch films in their original language.

another good one is pan's labyrinth which is like a really dark fairytale. abit freeky and a few people get murdered but i liked it.

also jackie chan movies- too many-can't be bothered to list them

I'd have said "La vita è bella" from Roberto Benigni but I'm Italian so for me it's not foreign movie, so I've to say "The cave of the yellow dog" (I think that's the title in English) from the monglian director Daava.

Yay, a Jackie Chan fan! Stephen Chow movies are great too, and I agree, Pan's Labyrinth was awesome.

Windstruck.
It's a Korean movie, but, MAAAN.
That was amazing. ;-;
It's a love story, and it makes you cry an ocean, but it's totally worth watching.

I almost cried when I saw that. My Sassy Girl was good too~

I also liked Y tu Mama Tambien, Amélie, Oldboy and erk, there's too many to list... >_<

Anyone Argentinian here..... once saw a movie about a dorky little kid with goofy glasses?? Looking for the title....

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0296915/ = Valentín - Is the movie you are looking for, I think. Haven't watched it yet, but had seen the commercials. òÖ

For movies, I would say:

Japanese: Swing girls. - Brother.

Spanish: Mar adentro.

French: Les choristes - La grande séduction - Tais-toi!

And some more I forgot òÖ

Yeah.... that's the one... Valentin. It's an excellent film and the kid is arguably the best child actor I've had the pleasure of watching. Highly Recommended!!!!

I can't really say it is Japanese or American as it is Directed by Clint Eastwood but for the best Japanese ( language ) movie I have seen is "Letters from Iwo Jima". Well, that is the only Movie I have seen ( I guess )

I dunno whether this is Chinese or Japanese ( I forgot since I watched it long back ) ut another one is "Infernal Affairs"
