I second those.
Also I'd say Princess Mononoke.
There was old movie I was thinking about in German that portrayed the German side of the war, if anyone could help greatly appreciated.

All Quiet on the Western Front? I don't think that any of the movies made from it are in German, though.

The Best foregin film for me would have to be The Bicycle Thief it's really sad but beautifully told.

The Seventh Seal, which I think is Norwegian. Also, Cronos (Mexican), Seven Samurai (Japanese), The Triplettes of Belleville (French).

I will watch that movie soon in Italian, I heard it's truly a masterpiece.

Pan's Labrynth. I was bummed when subbtitles started popping up in the theater, but before I'd been watching 5 minutes, I was completely hooked.

I enjoyed the Death Note movies. I think the 3rd one was my favorite cause it featured mostly L and this other genius kid.

Moon Child with Gackt and Hyde was weird. It just seemed like it was just a giant fanservice thing for the fangirls. I was expecting something more exciting since I kept hearing how great it was. none
