I normally call the term fanservice as 'foreplay' its meant to get you excited. But that is probably why I stopped reading ecchi because I was like "Fuck this why bother with ecchi when theres proper adult stuff out there"

Edit: Oh shit I didn't actually answer the question.
When I'm normally read stuff I'm interested in even things like Gantz or Berserk where alot of mature themes are prominent I don't really get turned on because I'm normally on a mind set for some asinine action. Some with most mangas that I read, they are either action, comedy and very little romance.
If I actually feel like being stimulated I'll just go into my box of guilty pleasures in the adult mature genre and read some of those lol. (some of them are actually very interesting)
