Well least its good to know I'm not alone when it comes to this.

Oh btw i have that Bomberman Plushie. Took me whole 10minutes to get it from a very very evil crane.

Where I play the UFO catcher/skills tester you can always ask owners to shuffle the toys or rearrange it, and that when I go for the kill.

my results
Your otaku Purity Test Results
You answered "yes" to 33 of 200 questions, making you 83.5% otaku pure (16.5% otaku corrupt).
Your Weirdness Factor (AKA Uniqueness Factor) is 13%, based on a comparison of your test results with 91823 other submissions for this test.

I'm confuse, what do you mean you want to try real ramen? to those who want to try real ramen.

@stubbly would you happen to live in Sydney? cause the place i go is called Capitol and is in Sydney. They get new plushies ever week and the workers are nice enough to rearrange the plushies for you.

Well i did the test and i got:
You answered "yes" to 89 of 200 questions, making you 55.5% otaku pure (44.5% otaku corrupt).
Your Weirdness Factor (AKA Uniqueness Factor) is 41%, based on a comparison of your test results with 91823 other submissions for this test.

But i couldn't be stuffed reading the last 50questions =X, also some of those questions were pretty stupid =s

A seiyuu is a Japanese voice actor smile

My results:
Quote
You answered "yes" to 79 of 200 questions, making you 60.5% otaku pure (39.5% otaku corrupt).
Your Weirdness Factor (AKA Uniqueness Factor) is 17%, based on a comparison of your test results with 91823 other submissions for this test.

The average purity for this test is 66.4%.

So I'm...32-45% Full-time otaku (past the point of no return), right? confused

But this test is hardly accurate considering this:

The first submission for this test was received August 5, 1998.

It's a little less than ten years off laugh

Huh? I still take showers and do other things that are non-anime related, so I'm not otaku, ne?

51% = Shameful Otaku
^_^;;

edit: This test has weird ratings - people who anwered yes to more questions seem to get a lower percentage tat those who answered yes to less...? wtvr - it was just for fun.

- more than 70% comp harddisk is filled wif animes/mangas
- japanese words unconsciously coming out from the mouth in daily conversation
- remembering the storyline of the animes/mangas after reading or watching once
- having attitude of an anime character uncousciously.....(as in how u express urself n ur actions) XD

I think the "otaku pure" part means non-otaku; you are free from otaku-ness.
So otaku corrupt would be how much of one you are. Least that how I took it to mean.
I think any yes answer is pro-otaku, so its the lower percentage.
Don't know what the wierdness factor might be.

Anyways, many of the questions are out-dated. Laser Discsconfused

My results are:

You answered "yes" to 35 of 200 questions, making you 82.5% otaku pure (17.5% otaku corrupt).
Your Weirdness Factor (AKA Uniqueness Factor) is 8%, based on a comparison of your test results with 91823 other submissions for this test.
The average purity for this test is 66.4%.

So I'm 17.5% Otaku! Good or bad confused

Wow, two MU members live in the same area!

(1) The weirdness factor is calculated by some wierd formulas and indicates how matching your answers are with those that have a similar result.
Anyway just click the link on the results page and it will explain the weirdness factor and even give you their method of calculation.

(2) Good or bad? wel 17.5% isn't enough to earn the name of otaku ^-^ If that's good or bad is for you to decide.
But the test isn't a good one to decide that. The test auto-excludes poor people, since a lot of those questions are about owning and buying.

@stubbly Haha cool i guessed right you were from Sydney xD. Well I'm there a lot, at least 3times a week so I've probably seen you at one point or another lol.

Anyways back on topic,
That test was kinda weird cause some of those questions asked if you were someone, so yea... plus that date of first test is ridiculous.

You know you are otaku or border line when

— You find yourself agreeing with Konata and laughing at her jokes.
— If you own a sailor fuku or gakuran when you don't have to.
— When you seriously contemplate buying this http://www.mythwear.com/cgi-bin/store/640B-ILYOR.htm
— When you critique the quality of cosplay costumes.

Hahah! laugh Way past that...

Took the test, I was 17.5% corrupt otaku, 9% weirdness. bigrazz Guess that makes me a part-timer. Thought it would be higher than that, but I guess I'm only touching the tip of the iceberg of otakuness.
