This week's poll is again from F_J. Do you listen to songs from anime? It could be the instrumental stuff, or the regular OP/ED that you're probably thinking of. Or maybe it's the songs from Kimi no Na wa.? That one's hugely popular with my friends. Personally, every once in a while I'll listen to the symphonic suites for Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny that were done by the London Symphony Orchestra.

All the time. Wonder how this one will go.

Back in the day (aka middle school and early high school), I use to actively listen to anime songs and choose some anime based on their songs (e.g. Darker than Black, Samurai Champloo). Now a days, if I listen to one its for the sole purpose of teasing my pals (e.g. playing Cards Against Humanity expect some anime mix, or all the nerds in the fam are home for the holidays, reminiscent about the old anime).

I feel like anime songs aren't that good, and even in middle school they weren't my favorite tracks by the J-pop groups that I followed. Only some are real jems, but it feels like jems come less and less with the years.

I used to do it all the time but switched to other Japanese music, some vocaloid some not.

All the time or once in a while, depends on whether that particular year/season has good anime songs or not. Either way, I do listen to a fair amount.

I'm not sure about regular as I only sometimes listen to music, but when I listen to music, some of it are anime songs, so Maybe every once in a while I guess mmm...~?

When I was younger, like in high school, it was all the time. But even then, I mostly listened to it because "listening to music" was a thing that was normal for teenagers, and those were the songs I liked.

When I listen to music, it's still anime... or video game music. But the thing is, I almost never listen to music anymore.

At some point it was the only thing I listened to, now it's only occasionally because I switched to game soundtracks.

Nope. But then again I've seen about two animes in the last ten years, anime really isn't my cup of tea anymore. Spent two years with it, then focussed on manga. But even back then I used to skip intro/outro after first full viewing, unless it was really, really good.
I do have songs however that remind me of certain animes due to great AMVs 😉

Sometimes, but usually a nostalgic thing, like listening to some Initial D tracks or random Naruto opening.

But enough that the playlists Spotify auto-generates toss in some random jpop tracks.
