Same sex marriage thread.

But this is in general. How do you feel about people who are gay? D; By discussing it, you get to broaden people's views~ I don't really care. I actually prefer gay guys over gay girls. o.o (no homo!) Because I have this irrational fear that lesbians secretly hate all men. ;-; I know that isn't true though~ I love all peoplez. :3 At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. We all bleed the same blood.

How did I know that you'd be the one to make this thread, doc?

I'm not a huge fan of homosexual men, I fear for the safety of my anus. Though if they leave me alone, I have no qualms. Lesbians seem safer, and more attractive.

Hmmm.
Well, I treat them the
same as any other person.
They are less likely to pick fights
with me though.

I'm already friends with gays and lesbians, and they're pretty cool. As long as the gay men don't hit on me, then we can be cool. As for lesbians, they're the more wild ones so you need to be careful when talking to them...

Well, I was just reading a wiki page on a book called The city of the PIllar by Gore Vidal. And to qouate one of the summary lines which I personally find hilarious:

"The plot centers on Jim Willard, a handsome youth in Virginia in the late 1930s..When his best friend Bob Ford, one year his senior, is about to leave high school, the two make a camping trip into the woods. ... after some moaning from Bob how difficult it is to get the local girls to have sex with him, the two have sex....
Jim, to whom it has already occurred that girls do not appeal to him as much, hopes Bob can stay and is crushed when Bob is insistent on joining the United States Merchant Marine. The next seven years of Jim's life will be an odyssey, at the end of which he hopes to be happily reunited with Bob...
After many many years and events,,,,
The resolution of their relationship comes again in New York, where they end up on the bed in Bob's hotel room. But when Jim finally thinks he has attained what he wants and moves closer, grabbing his "sex", Bob panics, is outraged to be thought of as gay, and even punches Jim in the face. The two struggle and Jim wins because he is stronger. In the original version, Jim is infuriated enough to murder Bob while in the revision he forcefully rapes Bob and then leaves the room.."

Pffff ahahhahaha sounds like a bad gay romance novel! laugh

So what I meant to say is that this whole issue has been too much inflated. Gay people aren't special, and they are not different. They just like different things. Some people like dogs or other animals, some people like objects, some people like feet, some people like hands, some people like hair, some people like feces and vomits and pain and blood. People got all kind of strange desires. And it just happens that some people like the same sex. Did you know that homosexuality exists even in animals? Especially monkeys and birds. But I do get annoyed when a gay acts all girly like because you know they don't have to act effeminate to be gay. I'm fine with them, as long as they don't try to act like girls just to show everyone that they are gay. Hell, I'm even fine with gays making out like normal couples do. Anything that normals couples are allowed to do, gays should also be allowed to do.

I'm not gay, so I don't care.

My sister is gay, so she thinks it's alright.

Even if I was morally opposed to it, there is nothing I could, within good conscience, do about it.

I never cared that someone was gay.
Until I reached college and all my fanfic-loving roomies started talking about the cuteness and greatness of gay guys and gay culture and showed me almost the entirety of Queer as Folk. Their propaganda was successful so now I sort of like them more than I did before.

I probably would've said 'iffy' if I hadn't started reading manga (and yaoi in particular), and now I'm perfectly fine with it.

Obsessed with yaoi and M/M romances which are merely fantasy.
Fine with homosexuality IRL.
Is that distinct enough for you, Mams?

I'm totally fine with it.

Not bothered much.

I've had a girl hit on me before. (I think she was joking though. I dunno you can't tell what she really thinks laugh ), and although awkward as it was, I'm not scared of her or think of her any differently than I do any other person.
Although I do fear that one day she's going to eat me. She does it in front of everyone. It's so embarrassing D:
