This is my second topic of this type my first is asking about just vampires located HERE.
Just as the title states the main character must becomes something supernatural (vampire, werewolf, zombie, immortal, etc.) over the course of the story.
Needs to have the main character deal with their transformation from human to supernatural being (mentally, emotionally, and in some cases physically).
Prefer it to have romance.
Don't want tragedies (at least the ending can't be tragic), Yaoi, or shoenen-ai.

What you fear more is the only difference.
Positive decisions are made in fear negative consequences,
Negitive decisions are made in fear of positive decisions not giving the outcome you want.
Embarrassment is the fear of people knowing your real thoughts.
Greed is the fear of having too little.

Venus Versus Virus - I don't actually know how it ends, but yeah.
Immortal Regis is a pretty good one too.

I saw Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou on your wish list. That sort of fits I guess, and seeing it was on your wish list anyway, it's worth a shot if it interested you.
Oh I also see Guardian Dog on your wish list too. I think that might fit as well. I'm not too sure about that one though if it matches what you're looking for. It's been a while since I completed reading that.

Possibly Witchblade as well. It's a bit short though. Maybe a bit tragic too :/

Kiseijuu - love this serie even though it's with aliens, the character development is incredible, yet plausible in the given situation;

Kiseijuu and Guardian Dog don't fit but I'll accept them anyway but try to stay out of that direction.
3x3 Eyes fits and is great want them to finish scanning it.

Love Monster - but not too sure about dealing with the transformation....
Amatsuki - I love this manga. But it's not completed, and I think it deals with his "transformation"
Kagen no Tsuki - Um, I think the girl that's the ghost is one of the main characters. She tries to deal with it. Not too sure if it fits, but still good nonetheless.

It's mature, but I still recommend it very much, since the art is good and our main character has to deal with becoming supernatural 🙂 Ah, it's getting more... disturbing over the volumes, so in this case you should absolutely consider the genres!

Kyou Kara Maou...The anime, manga, and novel are all actually really good in terms of quality. It has a few situations that are suggestively BL, but it's not actually shounen ai.

That topic made me think first of Kamichu!
Of course, she has already become a god just before the story starts, but at least it does have the whole "dealing with it" bit you wanted.
