Rebecca. It was very common where I grew up (I have two other close friends at home called Rebecca and another called Beckie - since me + the two others shorten our names to Becky or a variant too, it can get very confusing) Thankfully since moving to a more multi-cultural area, it's not as much of a problem. I hate it because it's common and I hate people calling me "Rebecca", but I like that there are so many different nicknames you can get from it. Although a lot of people, especially teachers, just assume they can start calling you Becky even if you hate them and would rather they didn't ¬_¬'
Anyway, my username on the net somehow caught on in real life and now my close friends tend to just call me Mog or something similar to avoid confusion. It's at the point where I find it weird for them to call me anything else. Although if people I've only just met ask why I'm being called Mog, since I usually introduce myself as Becky, it's a lot of trouble to explain... ;__;

My first name is Hannah, 하나 in Korean which literally is "one". My family has a naming system for kids in the direct line of royalty, so I share a middle name with two of my cousins.

Frances. I'm Vietnamese but my dad named me to mix into American culture and also after a saint. My two older brothers are Christopher and Nicholas after the saints. My dad's really religious. I'm also female that's why I spell my name with an e instead of an i which is the male spelling of the name.

I'm a Vietnamese and my parents named is Tram. Of course people would make fun of my name like Trampon, Tramp; however, the name is a certain type of hairpin. Similar to the Japanese Bira-Bira Kanzashi. Just search it up and you'll know what it looks like...

Shinta Permata Putri.
My real name is Jill. When I was younger I didn't really like it because it's boring, but it's grown on me as I've gotten older. It's not a frilly or pretty name which suits me just fine. It's easy to say and very few people mispronounce it.

Ilian a variation of Elia, my name is spelled with "a" but the most common variant in my country is spelled with "q" - Iliqn, that is leading to many mistakes and my corrections are needed, if someone else is writing it

Oh god, reading some previous posts, I feel like my name sucks balls.
Extremely ordinary name: Michelle. We have 3 Michelles right here in our apartment building. How sad is that?! Maaaaann!
Btw, I go with El, for the heck of it.

Ryan.
Supposedly it's a very popular name for girls in Ireland (I'm a girl), but I've gotten some flak for it growing up (in America) because it's a "boys" name. My Dad's family is Irish and my Mom thought it was pretty. I kinda wish I had a more girly name but whatever. At least my last name is pretty and fairly unique
