I sometimes do. Only if it's classical or in another language, because if it isn't I usually get distracted by the lyrics.

I always listen to music when I'm @my comp, so listening to music while reading mangas isn't an exception. But I often kinda forget that I'm listening to music, because I'm so absorbed with reading ^^
I listen to my usual music (=Metal (Blind Guardian, Kamelot,...) while reading & some anime songs (I dislike most of them, tho).

I also listen to music while I read manga but for some reason I've come to make few mangas a song of their own that when I hear the song it reminds me of the manga, but normally I listen to some good fast metal that gives me a chill in the spine.

The best music genre to listen to while reading, (actually it's just the best music, plain and simple lol) is Electronic dance. (That includes Techno, Trance and House) My favorites to go with manga right now are Tiƫsto and Paul Van Dyk...
I also like to listen to classical music though. (Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi etc...) but it depends on my mood actually... I may have split personality lol.

That is so true! Techno is the best when reading manga, (although I listen to other stuff too. Like, altern. rock.)
HoHoHo! Finally someone that understands what real music is like!
Na but seriously I don't listen to just that either, but it's my favorite genres.

The best musik is a guess not really dependent ob the action of reading manga but more what you feel like. So whatever you would be listening to if you wern't reading manga.
Thats my guess.
