Is there any manga that has champions battling it out?

The thing I have in mind is something like Genkaku vs Han Cunningham from the Suikoden II game.

It doesn't have to be a physical battle, any kind of battle is ok as long at it isn't the "top guys" (God vs Satan or kings of some country for example) battling but their representatives (angels vs demons or the two best generals etc). Guess I'm looking for something historical or a fantasy.

Any genre except shounen-ai/yaoi is ok with me.

FLAGS is a good manga that fits your category. Although there aren't much chapters scanlated yet.
