The DC animated movies took a bit of a dive due to restructuring after Flashpoint with "Assault on Arkham" being the exception but were are back baby as this weeks
Batman vs. Robin is a gripping crime adventure which honors the Morrison/Snyder source material so skip the prequel and start here. I kind of want to watch it again and The Dark Knight isn´t the best Batman film btw. The Dark Knight Returns (2012) is!
It´s even my favorite animated film after Akira and a rare 10/10.

I am going to assume that it´s fine to pimp out TV shows as we are truly living in the golden age of television.
Here Better Call Saul managed to do Breaking Bad justice and i am watching Daredevil by Netflix while writing this and i am in love! It is as dark as "Daredevil: The Man Without Fear" (1993) which serves as the source material so don´t expect the usual Marvel popcorn experience. This team needs to do the Punisher next!

I am happy to report that Avengers 2 is even better than the first and the prettiest CG-film to date. Ultron is the second good Marvel villain, Whedon even "repaired" Hawkeye and the Hulk X Widow romance confused is the only misstep of the movie makes.
The film is also better than any of the Avengers arcs from the last few years and the amount of references is at a record high. Assemble in the cinema the moment you can and i have no idea how DC can catch up at this point but B v. S looks good and i like Snyder for the most part. Well X-men had the better Quicksilver so i guess it can be done. My favorite is Cap2 btw. and Civil War should be a blast too.
If people would only buy the comics or even bother to read...

Jupiter Ascending - Movie was... average. But effects were somewhat awesome at times. And I REALLY like the boots.

yesterday on DVD: Definitely Maybe a romantic love comedy.

surprisingly entertaining and somewhat nostalgic, plot surrounds the nineties (clinton affair *cough*)

HBO had recent documentary blowout and it was interesting to see Cobain and Snowed as real humans for once but the unrelated Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films stood out to me. It is about The Cannon Group who made some of the worst B movie possible, a ton of infamous soft core porn, Superman IV dead and they are also responsible for the career of Chuck Norris. Oh boy and they nearly made Spider-Man too.

Over in tv land Mad Men just finished and the final one is a bit esoteric and surprisingly happy but the final half season is a masterpiece overall. The whole series is a bit long overall but good on AMC for rescuing the show form HBO´s trash can.

Seventh Son - Ok, but with pointless transformations...
Kingsman - Cool gadgets. Interesting dialogue. And Samuel L. Jackson. With a lisp...
Taken 3 - The first one is still the best one.

Mad Max: Fury Road It seems like the resonance between Borderlands and Mad Max now goes both ways, as the warboys were definitely channeling some Psychos there. Excellent action flick.

was hearing how awesome the new mad max movie was so i tried watching the old ones

the first movie...was shit
it looks like it is made by ppl who have no formal movie making education what so ever...in a bad way
and sort of a motor-porn movie? or... some... thing

the second movie
our "hero" is now a full blown evil man who seeks out badguys for fun and kills them
so it is basically shit
and gone is the motor-porn of the first movie

the third movie
feels like a joke
so i could not finish it
silly costumes and movie magic to make mel gibson look like a grown man instead of his tiny child like body[real body lol] in previous movies

so
i will not be watching the 4th one

Just finished rewatching Finding Nemo! Such a good movie!

It's been such a long time since I watched it (I think the last time was when I was 6). There's a lot more stuff I understand now, like the manta ray teacher's song listing different marine species eyes

There was also this one part where Dory asks, "What is it with men and asking for directions?" I could not stop laughing laugh
