Hello, I'm new smile

I would just like a manga where the heroine's personality is witty or quirky. Like Nodame from Nodame Cantabile or the girl from Warau Kanoko-sama or like Lilo from Lilo and Stitch. You know, I always noticed the best quirky characters have their serious counterparts who are funny and quirky in their own way smile
For example, if she has a crush on a guy and is staring at him and he asks why I would not like it if she blushed and and didn't answer him. I would like an unexpected witty or funny response (I'm sure if this were Nodame and Chiaki she would say that she was just enjoying a nice view of her husband lol)
Thank you!

sounds like Bakemonogatari (anime) to me.
also, if you like witty dialogue, try Denpa Onna (also anime, sorry!! can't think of any manga right now)

edit: Kuragehime

hmm...
Akuma to Love Song maybe?
Oresama Teacher- mostly because it's kind of a shoujo spoof...but the interaction between the heroine and the teacher are hilarious
Motomi Kyousuke's stuff all have pretty original heroines...plus they're just awesome...

I second Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer.

1/2 Prince / 1/2 Prince (Novel) - the novel more so; the manhua leaves out some of Feng Lan's witty narration. I also recommend The Legend of Sun Knight (Novel), as the protagonist is very witty and quirky, though he's male.

Gurren Lagann - Nia is pretty quirky.

Black Lagoon
