Santa is kidnapped by terrorists. George Bush and Frosty the Snowman rescue him and liberate the North Pole form an oppressive regime and spread democracy to the Arctic in the form of Wal-Marts and Home Depots

There are x-mas and Christmas. Specify what you want.

Yoroshiku Master <- read this and relax, lol.

@vince - your definition of first graders is rather original laugh

Anyone see Kiss save Santa?
You can make it Paris Hilton saves Santa by buying all the presents for the kids because the elves got sick. Wait no. I hate that woman, lets make someone else save x-mas. How about um um aliens?

just make it a story where a kid gives a gift to someone, but does not receive a gift back. he is upset, but learns how much his gift is appreciated, while his friend couldnt give him a gift because he's (insert: in trouble, poor, forgot, had one and it broke, secretly santa!) sappy ending, everyones happy. cliches work wonders

How about this =

Santa is sad that no one believes in him, and alll the toys in the world start to disappear. Then some elves go to get some kids from different nations to come to the north pole and help cheer up santa. Then Santa feels better and the kids hjelp him make new toys in record time and the multi-national kids get to help him deliver them to their countries and the end.
You can have a white kid from Russia, and a Black kid from Africa, and an indescript Asian Kid from Asia, and a South American indian type kid and a Mexican kid from America. It teaches racial tollerance and to belive in santa and milti-racial co-operation.
Kinda corny, but good for the little bastards.

How about a nice story where Santa gives the elves the day off and everyone goes Bowling?

Or some other sport commonly played in your area.

It'll possibly encourage them to be active during the Holiday season (in which most people are normally lazy).

For first graders, you say. Hmm, maybe about an elf who aspired to be Santa's personal assistant, so he studied and whatnot, you know, the usual propaganda 'study and work hard, so your dreams will come true'? And then he gets what he want (he's promoted on Christmas) and helps Santa spread love and give presents.
