hey! i'm looking for a manga i have read quite some time ago. it's about a girl who is a real airhead, who transfers to a new school. there she befriends two girls in her class, if i remember correctly, one of them is sort of a tomboy, with short blue hair, and the other one has long hair, (i think she was blond, but i'm not too sure on that, i might be mistaking it) and is a bit creepy, like she likes voodooo dolls or something like that. the short-haired girl thinks both of them are strange and weird, and at first doesn't really want to have something to do with them, but she still befriends them.
oh, and one more think than i remember is that the protagonist (the airhead girl) is very excited that she has made new friends, but because she is an airhead and has veeeeeery little orientation sense and forgets things easily, when she went home, she forgot where she lives and she asks a policeman. eventually she gets home.

this is it, i hope someone knows it, because i would like to read it again

If I can add to the details.. (I still can't remember the manga's name), think this may be sorta recent (EDIT: Oops it's not recent. Why did I think it is?). I think the airhead protagonist has reddish hair, and this is a 4koma

Definitely not fruits basket, the lead girl ain't an airhead, clumsy but not vacant.

I was thinking the wallflower since she was a goth, it doesn't match the airhead description, also Beauty Pop came to mind, again the girl is not an airhead, it really depends on your definition of airhead, none of my ideas have a police officer to come and take her home.

Wedding Peach is starting to fit your description a little more in my opinion.
