I'm looking for, a manga where the main char dies, saving a girl/love interest. Goes to hell/heaven and its giving another chance to "set things well/get the girl without dying". He may or not come back with powers, he may or not remember what happened. comming back with an angel/demon is a no no as he may end up with her instead and that piss me off.

the events in angelsanctuary may sound like what I want but thats not true cuz .. they are reincarnations. I want the main char to still continue his life. Even if the plot doesnt follow him getting the girl, he must be hoping to get her.

PD. Theres a movie that may work as example even when they are reincarnations... the main guy dies and meet a girl in heaven, she is selected to be reincarnated and main guy asked god to let him reincarnate with her, good says yes but gave the guy 29 years to find her and make her fall in love with him if not both of them will be unhappy their whole lives. I dont remember the actors nor do i remember the name of the movie tho. BUT the part where he is reincarnated and meets the girl again takes only like 15 mins of the movie so... I dont mind if the manga u guys suggest is long /short even if the time where he dies is at the middle or at the end or at the start, even if it is a sub plot.

It's not a perfect fit, but what about Wake Up Deadman?

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The guy dies saving the girl he loves and then comes back as a zombie. He actually believes he's having a second chance, since he was never able to confess to her.

I recommend it, if you have nothing against web comics ^^

I've been trying to give that one a chance since a while ago, but looking as how he is a zombie i dont know if it will end well. I guess i should try it.

Kurogane might be close to what you want.

A character in Moon Child dies to save someone he loves and is reborn as the villain.

There's an anime movie called Colorful that is what you are looking for.

Colorfull sounds interesting, i mistook it for this http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=221 LOL i was wondering if you were playing with me till i saw thats a series and u told me it was a movie, Moonchild doesnt look like it really fits but i will give a try as it seems like a cute read. Kurogane ... well i will make a go at it. same with the zombie manga someone told me earlier im reading it somehow but 8 chapters and i still cant see the girl biggrin.

Tokyo Underground has a character who comes back alive (with the power of the wind) after saving a girl...he probably likes.

But the resurrection theme is pretty short, when the manga is long.

Wow, that's really specific.

Um, looking through my lists... Vampir might fit? It's not really a romance, but the main character does die and come back to life.

Yah its specific biggrin , but in fact with any theme where love trascend death, and the guy/gurl comes back to life with another chance/ medical science is good.

trying vampir now, good thing i dont mind shoujo as long as it isnt 85% drama..., saving tokyo underground for later as it is kind of long biggrin.

thanks peeps.

roughan, thanks for colorfull, it took a diferent aproach and wasnt like what i wanted but i felt it in my heart, its a great movie, thanks indeed. I wanted some love fantasy and you gave me something with characters that felt real, and a plot that even while being unreal gave me a good lesson in life.
