So, I am looking for a good series with Magic/Magicians. I've just read Annarasumanara and really liked it. I practice magic as a hobby, so I'm really looking for a story that revolves around magicians, not necessarily magic worlds such as [m]Mahou Sensei Negima[/m] but I might give it a try also, if it seems interesting ;D.

I've tried looking through the Magician tag, but couldn't really find something that gave me that feeling of "I've found it". So that's why I am asking here, sometimes the series description doesn't really stands up to the series quality, therefore I ask for recommendations (:

Listing my preferences:

- A story with magicians, it's ok if it doesn't focus on the magic or if the "magician" is not the main character

- I don't mind ecchi stuff.

- Preference for Seinen, but other genres are also welcome.

- The only things I don't want are: Yaoi, Shounen Ai, and Shotacon...

Thanks in advance (:

My lists are open if you'd like to take a look, things in my on hold list or wish list are also welcome ;D

Try Magician (KIM Sarae) the story is great and the art gets better as the series goes on.

Things I enjoy:

1. Badassery. I love being, doing, and living it. I also enjoy seeing it as it usually makes me cry man tears.
2. Badassness.
3. Badasses.
4. Badass mofos.
5. Manly badasses.

Things that I hate:
1. Wimpy protagonists.
2. Girly protagonists (if they're men).
3. Douchie protagonists.
4. Idiotic protagonists.
5. Over-the-line rude protagonists.

Thanks everyone for you replies! I've started reading Magician (KIM Sarae),it's been in my wish list so I picked it up first. Not really getting me hooked up but I will read a bit more of it, it seems the kind that gets better after awhile ^^
As for Trinity Seven, seems really fun, I'll surely read it!
City of Dead Sorcerer, quite interesting by the description (: I've got the felling it's a pretty good read.

Once again, thank you all!

If there is anything else please don't refrain from suggesting!

Np, if you dont like Trinity Seven im going to glare at you with menacing eyes, and it should probably be mentioned but the art in Magician really gets better fast with small changes with every chapter.
Magi
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
Mx0 --- Realy liked this one, the ending was a disappointing though good overall read though.
