A fun drama story with romance + school life tags?
Realistic + tragedy, or fun + fantasy/sci-fi/horror is fine.
I would prefer something longish and ongoing, but if it's really good I can deal.

Okay, most of what I'm going to list doesn't fit everything you want. Most of these are short (under 30 chapters), so, sorry in advance; and completed.
Akuma to Dolce is romance and fantasy.
Anedoki is about this boy's father leaving him alone, and a strange girl moves in. She's older than him, and very little happens in school.
1/3 no Kareshi is a One Shot (so it's not long or anything), but it's in school and funny; good for a short read.
Beast Master is short, only seven chapters.
Beauty Pop this is longer than the others I've suggested.
BxB Brothers is longer and completed. Comedy for the most part.
Fruits Basket is a long story with fantasy.
Full House Kiss is kinda short (26 chapters) about a girl living at the house as a maid, she also goes to school with the male lead.
Gokuraku Seishun Hockey Club is kinda long (56 chapters) about comedy and sports (which isn't the main thing).
Gokusen is about this teacher, girl, having to teach a All-boy's school.
Hana Yori Dango is about this superior school with a poor girl going to it. It's humor and a bit clichy in parts.

These ones are all completed, but other than that, they are all longish (5+ volumes) and a variety of genres

Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu-the plot runs over a 12 year period (aged 8-20) but most of it takes place as school life
Boys'n Girl-if you are not laughing by the end of this, there is something wrong with you
Good Morning Call-loved this series
Imadoki!-Yuu Watase, you can't go wrong there
Love Celeb-school life is more of a sub plot

Thanks all.
The main reason I want ongoing is I enjoy new chapters coming and and the suspense. But completed stories are okay too. Most of the best manga have been finished, after all.
