I been seacherging for this manga for a while, but my memories aren't specially useful in the search. It is set in contemporary japan and mabye is about ninjas or exorcists.
What I clearly remember are two characters: a blond journalist that worked for the "evil" organization and losses arm and a teenager of an nondefined gender that has the power to erase things and erases his own existence before dying, so the main character and the journalist forget him.
Other things that might be related with the manga is that the main character has sealed or writen in his back a book that caused a tragedy. And there is an arc in a orphanage were the children turn "evil".
