I can understand a bit what GGpX is trying to say even though I'm a fan of both series and I enjoyed Majin Devil as well. The story for both can get confusing at times and even boring. I think that it's the good artwork that can keep you interested long enough that you'll read to a point that you find interesting and you're hooked on the story again. The story has it's ups and downs (I didn't really like the recent past arc in TenTen that much) but what I really find interesting is Oh Great's evolving art which gets better with every volume.

I have also read other popular series which I expect to be good but turn out to be disappointing and boring. It's just a matter of interest and taste I guess...

I get the feeling from Ten Ten, that after the story sort of exploded after the first few volumes. I say it's an educated guess to say that at some point the series became popular, the author scraped whatever plot he had, and just started introducing cool looking people and girls with big boobs in a more or less random manner.

I love Air Gear, the story is almost worthless, but i laugh myself crooked reading it. And it just looks great.

Nis, you're not stupid, you're lost, like me, but I'm reading again from the begining, that monthly basis is making holes in the story.

Stupid are the ones who read Oh! Great work JUST for the artwork mad

I started reading it because in the artwork, but I got hooked up at some point. It was okay until the giant flashback; I could re-read it but there's just lots of better manga to read.
