Like Code Geass or Big Order. For some reason, the main character decides to seize the power. Death Note is kind of like this, too. Strategic, dynamic, with a bit of supernatural thrown in.

Since I just found it by chance, I'm not sure, if Underdog is comparable with Death Note or if it will suit your taste, but maybe it's worth a look?
