i really want kanamexyuuki! since in the beginning i've always had a feeling that it was going to be zeroxyuuki but kanamexyuuki forever! this is the first time i seriously don't know who's ending up with who. Ugh I'm pulling my hair of with this

i prefer Zero X Yuki, i just think that they make such a good cuple, well, at least Zero is HOT!!! so ZERO all the way!!

well.. I'm always in favor of the couple where both people are in love with the other person. So Kaname x Yuki, I guess. but I feel so bad for Zero and in some ways, I really want Yuki to end up with him. I can't choose. it's too difficult.

Yuki x No one

Many people thought the feeding scene between Kaname and Yuki was exciting because Kaname and Yuki were finally on the same level. I didn't think it was that great.I think there was just about the same amount of romance in the the scene with Zero and Kaname, which is none. I'd say the Kaname and Zero feeding scene was much better and they completely despise each other. =/

I think Yuki is too selfish to deserve any of them. Even at this point I still continue to think that she mainly cares about herself and her our desires while everyone else is running around trying to protect her. Maybe my opinion will change with the next upcoming chapters when I see her do something that doesn't benefit her.

So after much careful deliberation.....

Kaname fell in love with Yuki knowing she was born intended for him. Yes, it's a romantic scene but imagine if Kaname was never involved with Yuki's family in the beginning..I doubt he would have the same feelings for her. Kaname from the start was thinking about the day he would change her into something suitable for himself.

Zero fell in love by getting to know her. And I strongly believe he still loves her deep down, despite her being a pure blood now...Afterall, Yuki did accept Zero unconditionally even when he changed. Would Kaname still love Yuki as much if she stayed as a human forever? I think Zero and Yuki have this mutual bond of trust and deep committment that she will never have with Kaname.

Also lean towards Zero, because he needs her more. Zero fell in love with Yuki because she showed him kindness when he was most vulnerable. She's the only one that truly accepts him. Kaname forced Yuki into accepting her tragic destiny of being a vampire while Zero wanted to protect her from it, so I think what Kaname did was more selfish than Zero sucking her blood...

As for complaints about Zero being too angsty-y I think that is a poor argument ~_~ You try losing your family, finding out your twin is still alive, then realizing he is evil and out to kill you, not to mention having to suffer torn between two polar identities: human and vampire (imagine becoming what you most hate), and the knowledge that he will inevitably degrade into a level E... knowing he might hurt Yuki who he desperately wants to protect...And that the only person who meant anything to him is being stolen away by a handsome, tall dark and mysterious stranger who he hates to begin with ^_^

Kaname probably has a lot of responsibilities but it's to other vampires and I think he's more politically oriented than romantically. I feel Zero is more devoted to Yuki at a personal level. Kaname at least has some true friends at the Academy and poor Zero has no one.

And don't forget the valentine's chocolate: the only one that turned out right! She gave it to Zero, not Kaname!! (who only received store-boughts) Outwardly, Yuki has always adored Kaname more because she sees him as this divine saviour. But when we look at all those times she was deeply concerned for Zero, all the times she sought him out first...she has a deep impulse to care for him.

And lastly I always seem to think the hero that the manga artist puts most focus on **FIRST** (most detailed first appearance), is the one that will end up with the heroine/hero. For example, in Ayashi no Ceres, we meet Toya before Yuhi. In fushigi yugi, we meet Tamahome before the emperor and those other suitors I can't remember. In Inuyasha, we met Kagome before Kikyo. In fruits basket we did meet Yuki first but Kyo needed tohru more, in the way Zero needs Yuki more. In Ranma, akane was introduced to us as the first fiancée. So, I do think Zero was introduced as the main man of the story~ We knew he had to like Yuki long before Kaname openly admitted it.

I don't know about that.... I've only started reading vk, and it seems that the main guy is actually kaname. Even in the anime I think its kaname...

I am going to have to agree. kaname has done FAR more than zero has to protect her. now the argument with kaname being more politcal i just have one thing to dispute

i believe yuki only wants to protect zero. if someone who is close to you a kind person would take any pain just to relieve that pain. if the role was that kaname was in pain yuki would do the same thing to help him. yuki even realized that she was in love with kaname in recent chapters (i want to read the jpn on several chapters just to make sure of a couple of things). zero doesnt seem like the type of person who accept yuki knowing her past lineage.
