Does anyone know a "vertical" manga reader for those long strip ones? Using picasa or windows viewer, I have to zoom on each image to read them and i'm wondering if there is an easier way.
TIA

CDisplay isn't bad - it can either load the pages in their original size or fit the page width to your window (if you'd like to read from a distance). The resizing script is pretty good - there's no pixelization whatsoever (unlike the windows viewer).
Unfortunately all offline readers will load the pages one by one - the change between the pages won't be as smooth as online long strip format.
You can imitate that by making a small html file, like I suggest in my post here: http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=42353&pa ge=1#post610714
That's what I do for webtoons that aren't on Batoto yet.

Have you tried MangaMeeya? You have to do a little configuring first, but once you've settled on your settings, it works wonders.
I used to use CDisplay, but now that I've used MangaMeeya, I just can't use any other viewer anymore.

I just tried MangaMeeya. It does have some interesting options, but for someone used to Wheel scrolling down/up the pages and moving onto the next/previous one once you scroll past the page's boundaries it's very inconvenient. And the scrolling speed it terribly slow...

I'm using Quivi for manga and webcomics, works quite well for me since there are a lot of settings you can adjust. Though I'm not sure if there's a way to display all the pages in a long strip format.

You can adjust the mouse scroll speed, whether it's smooth scrolling or not (personally, I prefer to turn this off) in Configuration. You can also customize what the mouse button and scroll do under Customize.

Yeah, after a bit more configuration these things have been fixed. Unfortunately it seems that I need to stop and restart the wheel motion after a page turn... Otherwise the page stays in place.
The problem might not be noticeable with a standard scroll, but Logitech's smooth wheel (/auto scroll) doesn't require constant turning, so it doesn't "reset" after the page turn.
It doesn't really matter when there's a lot of dialog, but during action scenes it ruins my reading/viewing pace.

I've been using CDisplay since forever. The older version, not the Ex version, I think that one has some annoying featuresm even if it has some better working things, like previewing, better scaling algorithms and such. What I like the best about it is the fact that it's full screen without any UI or other ugly crap that would make it look like Geocities. When I read, I like to have as little disruptive elements as possible. No animations, no borders, no icons. It also closes immediately when you tell it to, boots fast and so on. Can read stuff directly from archives. Great for reading questionable stuff. Has all the necessary settings.
