So why couldn't Nagato just jump to Konan in the last chapter like he did in this one? Come on Kishimoto, you could have had it to where they at least tried to fight and save Konan...

And it seems that the gang that suddenly disappeared when Yahiko and Nagato went to the assigned place last chapter wasn't dead as I had thought, so now the way that Nagato died makes EVEN LESS sense seeing how he should have brought them with him in the first place.

Oh, and Naruto spared Nagato's life. Yay for him.

Isn't that huge monster he summoned in the flashback pannels, the same monster that extracts the tailed beasts from their hosts? Or am I confusing something here..

It's the same thing. And that makes me wonder how the hell is Nagato still alive seeing how he had to help with the extraction of the tailed beasts' chakra as well as control those Pain bodies at the same time. He's got strong willpower...

Maybe the reason he can do it has to do with the other Akatsuki contributing a lot of chakra for the process.

I think its the same but i don't see its eyes remember the one that in their base it has many eyes like spider and one more thing the black bar (don't know what's its name) in nagato's body is from the monster he summon in his past

Those spikes in his back...That means that since he first summoned that thing he has had those in his back. Maybe it's a way to conduct his power or control over it so as to not be killed?

Lol, because they don't think it's possible at that time, and Nagato 's Rinnegan which makes it possible for a rescue only awakes when his pain reaches a certain level,so yeah, Yahiko should die
hm,don't understand... which gang disappeared at chapter 446 ? you mean the Konaha's black ops lead by Danzo ? or the Amegakure of Hanzo, yeah looks like Hanzo wasn't dead at that time...

The giant statue's eyes (it looks like a statue to me ^^) open when a legendary monster is extracted into it (apparently, there are 9 eyes), and the chakra bar you're talking about is like a chakra transceiver.

I'm angry that Nagato was spared.
Maybe he'll die because a giant boulder squishes him or his chakra runs dry.

Well, atleast Nagato's flashbacks kinda ended. I want to see some fighting action already!

But Jiraiya taught Nagato how to control it and use it to his advantage. Which would mean that he taught him how to use it without relying on pain and hatred to fuel it. So I guess the training was for nothing and was just another thing in Jiraiya's long list of failures...


I'm talking about the gang Yahiko formed that was shown in the last chapter. In chapter 446's thread, I assumed that the gang was killed offscreen, but no mention about them being killed was made. And with this chapter, Nagato says that he became leader of the gang afterwards which means they weren't dead. Which means Kishimoto basically made Yahiko stupid on purpose by not bringing his gang with him to the assigned place just so that he could die. Despite the fact that ANY leaders would know to bring their crew with them to a negotiation because they don't know what's going to happen. And if he did, he would have at least a better chance at survival than just going with Nagato.

Thats right. Wasn't the main reason Jiraiya trained those kids Nagato's Rinnengan? What a fail.
Oh and the mangaka should really end this stupid arc soon, because I am getting tired of that stupid "war is bad preaching". How am I supposed to get my ninja fix if everyone in the Narutoverse is at peace? Plus this would be impossible for a dumbass like Naruto to achieve.
At least the chapters are sort of flowing from one to the next... unlike in Bleach where everything is a total mess.

What's up with Naruto's "I won't kill you"?
Nagato will probably say "Hey, that's cool man. That makes it easier for me to kill you."
Then Naruto gets beaten up but he'll refuse to strike back. Nagato will be confused and ends up killing himself. His last words will be something like "Jiraiya was right after all..."

I think it's going to turn out like this.

Pretty weak chapter imo. The thing Nagato makes in the flashback does look a lot like the thing that extracts the beasts.
