I doubt that the supernova's will really play into the current arc. They have no reason to go down to Impel down.
but then again wasnt this chapter just a introduction to the great gaol. why do you guys say its the best chapter ever read.. O.o its just like a intro nothing spectacular really happened. just a few bull looking things.. beating up slaves/prisoners.. ace and his daddy issues... i cant wait for the next chapter..
