I started a webstore online and obviously b/c it's new, it does not have much traffic. I submitted it to over 1800 SEOs and had someone twitter it to 11k people. That did not help much. I've been reading lens on squidoo that says I should write an article about my site but there is not much to write about. Also, if I do write it, where do I submit to make sure people will look at it? Do you guys have any ideas on drawing more traffic?

One thing that I've seen work is having a makeup/fashion guru wear your jewelry in one or more of their videos. They gain tons of views from that, and I'm sure the guru's fans will gain interest in your items. The gurus usually list what the items are, and where they got it from.

Another one would be selling some of your items on ebay. When someone is interested in a certain jewelry style and end up finding yours, they may find your website, and spread the word! :3

Occasionally, I see people selling their own handcrafted items on College/Uni Campuses, so maybe that could work!

(I just wanted to note that these are only suggestions and I've never done any of these myself~)

Good luck :3

Have you tried adding your site onto search engines like google or yahoo? Try to add lots of phrases instead of highly competitive key words such as "jewellery". I've tried searching up your site but I can't see it in the few pages I looked.

EDIT: Please forgive me but I just really want to point out a spelling error on your site. If you meant the sweet dessert, then it's that spelling. Unless you meant the dry, sweltering hot or cold desert? Sorry! Spelling Nazi mode! >.<

Don't know much about websites and advertising, but how about trying to get your site promoted by another famous website? e_o

nood picz of sexay ladies. Other than that I think the general design of ur website is plain. It doesn't really draw your attention to your products and your site looks like a general blog. Constructive criticism, so I guess you should improve on the website itself.

Don't underestimate the power of word-of-mouth. Go advertise to your friends and see if they can advertise to their friends. Well, I think your jewelry is adorable, so I might buy a couple depending on the leniency of my budget. I'll show the site to a couple of friends who might like it too.

You can get a higher search rank on google (I'm not sure about other search engines) if you have lots of people linking to your page... so, get people to put links on their websites to yours?

Having a brief look through the website i agree with some of the above posters
The layout is unprofessional looking and for most people buying online, that is a big turn off. A badly designed website will instantly make people suspicious of your products.

Also obviously as the site is new, you wont have many products but i think that you have too few products available to expect much interest in the site.

I think the name is a bit of a problem too, if someone was talking about it i would have absolutely no idea what it sold. You should maybe put in a sub title for eg. "Snicker-Doodle Jewelry" or something along those lines

How about try making a FaceBook page/group?

I know many Facebook "stores" that use their page as a gallery, bidding place, contact area and link to their own site store. They also link or get tagged by other stores when uploading new photos (as advertisement) so customers of the tagged/linked store can learn about the other store. And they all seem rather successful. wink

Sex doesn't always sell and I think you meant nude not nood (which isn't a word).

I like using Etsy to sell my stuff and they have ways to promote jewelry that have worked for me. It's something you could check out.

you could try challenge.co. it's step by step and free. basicly you research for a good keyword phrase, make articles based on them (the more the better) and use web 2.0 to attract customers as well as some other tricks. it's hard and tedious but it works

eccentrrick: I've tried ebay before and they're very very very expensive to list on. It's true that if I don't sell, then I don't get charged. But each time I re-list it and finally sell it, it's going to be more than what I originally want to invest for listing. Also, if I sell nothing, I get charged $7 a month just for having a seller account.

LittleMelon18: Thanks for sp. I've corrected it.

Yenoh: What website would that be? A list would be helpful. Thanks for your suggestion.

blaznazn22: I've went on a template that webs.com provided me. I've been going thru different sites to figure out which was the best. Webs has an ok template but by far, the have one of the best shopping cart. I've also tried weebly.com but their shopping cart style is different. I've been trying to tweek the templates a bit but unless I know css or hire a guy for $500+, I am limited on what I can do.

daisukidesuyo: TY for the WOM suggestion. I've been going on off my facebook and friends in person. Frankly, I think they're annoyed by me after a while.

Belladonna: I've submitted to over 1800 SEOs such as: google, yahoo, bing, ect. I'd love people to put my link on their page, but 100% of my friends don't have a website nor do I know anyone willing to do so.

Table: The name itself took me a while to think of. And it's true that you wouldn't know just by the name, but I already bought the domain so I'm kind of stuck with it. That's why I added a slogan about sweet and elegant style jewelry. The site is based off the template. I extremely hated the original background, so I changed that up a bit. I could change it over again but I am not finding anything promising at the moment. Since it is a new site, I did not invest a whole lot on variety. I bought a few pieces of each to determine which ones would have been popular. The pieces I got were from overseas and the shipping is already crazy expensive. I wanted to see what I could do with my limited budget. If you could give me more suggestions on how to improve by pointing out what to "change it to" instead of leaving me hanging with the problem would be very appreciative to me. Thank you, I'm not trying to be defensive. I want to be open to all ideas.

CatzCradle: I think I'll give the fb thing a try.

plumcrazy926: I'd love to etsy so much but I don't make any of my own jewelry. How would I lead them into my webstore if I don't craft anything and sell them on etsy? I have been contemplating etsy forever since I'm so in love with that site.

sakura8429: I'll look into that.
