um i don't think that is exactly how the song went but i remember something similar. next time i play the game i will go through the last few songs i beat(since i just go down the list)

i am taking a break for a day or two. a bit pissed at it for losing so much..

anyways i did think of an idea. but the makers of the game will never do this since they will lose money. anyways i say they should make a version with downloads available. say like xbox 360 or ps3. this way you can download new songs to HD etc. people could put in requests for songs and the makers as time goes buy could release extra stuff. i say its a great idea. but i doubt it will ever happen since that would go against them making new versions for profit.

actually about that edit feature... people you know hack the game and make it so they can put their own songs, i tried for my ps2 version but... i didnt have a burner so it didnt work >_> tried to put on rewrite by l'arc~en~ciel of course >_>

yup your right about that its stupid, instead you know they just put the songs from the last one in. but then again it could work in gh becomes huge enough like halo, you know create online play, which would be awesome, and you know other stuff. and it would have to make like special version to make it better like iono, like what ddr does i guess( which i really suck at )

I play it on my computer... with my keyboard.

You hold the keyboard like a guitar hero controller, and use the first five F keys for the cords, and Enter for the stroke key. It works pretty well, and costs nothing. (I believe actual guitar hero controllers also work, and I don't think you even need an adapter with the xbox 360 ones) People also make songs for it (the program is called Frets on Fire)

So my mom comes over and sees me playing guitar hero. And starts standing next to me and asking questions like she wants to try. And then me being such a nice guy, I hook her up to the training levels so that she can give it a whirl. Now mom won't stop. She just wont stop. She keeps playing, over and over and over. Same F-ing song. Over and over. I am going crazy. 2 hours. Won't stop. She's 56 years old and has kicked me off my own PS2. I can't believe it. I never want to hear "Surrender" again. She won't stop........she won't even let me have a turn. This is unthinkable. Over....

I've heard of that, and yes you can use the 360 controller on the computer because it uses usb ports and not controller ports like the PS2

My guitar hero story wins against all. I bought it not too long ago for the 360 and was playing it for like a week straight. I stopped for quite a while and just left it staying there. My grandmother comes into town, 73, and decides she wants to play it. Its already week 3 straight with her playing it daily for about 2 hours and she is already better then I am. Thats right, I was schooled by my grandma.

vinceasuma, i know your pain.. my mom saw me playing and wanted to try too.. and she kept playing "Mother" over and over again.. i wanted to hit the TV with a stick, haha... I can only stand a song like 2 times in a row, 3 at most before it gets oldddddddddddddd.

You'd hate me then cause whenever I warm up I always play sweet child of mine on expert.

okay last time we where playing my friend brought over GH 1 and 2 so where beat 2 from beg to exp i thought easy enuff. we pop in GH 1 and im like i lost on hard was all wtf. now i have a undying date for fat lip by sum 41 and no one knows by queens of the stone age. i hate em i hate em i haaaatttttteeeeee emmmmm........ they allmost ruin gh 2 for me. thank god we poped gh2 back in and i got get my yyz on

yah gh1, is like wtf? like its not hard its just that the pull offs and hammer ons are hard... yet...... my friend still beat the game with all 5 stars >_> seriously i think he is going to become like the best at this game i mean he doesnt have xbox live but... he only plays expert mode on gh2 and has 21mil as a carreer score! COME ON 21 MIL!!! I ONLY HAVE 15MIL AND THAS INCLUDING ALL SONGS WITH THE OTHER LEVELS!

I been stuck on Limozeen in expert mode. That solo really makes me a sad panda.

I got 80s 2 days ago...

i've beaten them all on expert (even FCed SHAKIN') except for play with me... failed it like 10 times at 93%... damn scales...


no tips though because i can't remember that song...

i can only play at the mall cuz they have a demo set up there but one thing i've learned. It's critical to get into what you're playing, because if you don't, you're just pressing a couple a buttons over and over, and not really playing a guitar sim.
