Hello everyone!

We're looking for a couple more Japanese to English translators and specifically someone with strong Kanji skills to do clean up on one of our projects. We're also currently looking for more Traditional Chinese to English translators for a few new projects and to help with a couple of our longer current series.

Our group was created with the goal of helping to finish abandoned and neglected series. Though we are willing (and happy) to scanlate Yaoi/Shounen-ai, Yuri/Shoujo-ai, Seinen or Josei the majority of our projects are Shoujo with a dash of Shounen. Presently we're running a "reader's choice" poll on our LJ to pick out two new projects in addition to having just finished a round of "staff picks" for new series.

Yes, we're still recruiting, but this time with variety!

We're still looking for Traditional Chinese to English and Japanese to English translators to help with longer projects and the winners of the Reader's Choice Poll. We need about four to six more C to E's and two or three more J to E's. We accept both new and experienced translators and have established translators willing to help mentor newbies.

We're also looking for at least one more experienced cleaner to help with Kap~n as it's a trickier, more time consuming manga. We'll also need roughly four to six other cleaners, either experienced or new. We're looking at 30-50 page turn around per week for the average chapter. Cleaners are the ones that get to erase fun things like SFX and the original text and to rotate and rotate and rotate some more along with arcane things like this mysterious "leveling" and "cleansing of the dirt". It's all extremely cryptic yet fascinating and people should come on by and join in. nods

We're looking for new proofreaders to help with manga. Having decent English skills and the willingness to fling yourself at the script is a bonus. We're looking to recruit about eight more so that each series can have a fast turnaround and a devoted reader. Proofreaders jobs are to fix any grammatical, spelling and flow errors and to double check against the raws to make sure there isn't any missed translations in the text.

Finally, we need typesetters. A good 8 to 10 more to help round out the staff would be immensely helpful, especially if they can do one to three chapters a week. Typesetters are the ones that put in the translated scripts and should have some kind of editing program.

No, I'm not kidding about the number of openings. We're looking to push out a lot of our manga so that we can pave the way to new series and start up the winners from the "Reader's Choice" poll we're doing in our Live Journal so we're going to need a lot of help to keep up the quality and quantity.
