Well I think it just got skipped. I mean the Sasuke v. Itachi fight was more important. But I do think that the Madara/Sasuke conversation could have waited a couple chapters so we could catch a glimpse of the other fights.

Not really. Madara stated that Itachi cared about his brother more than Konaha. If The Clan attacked, then konaha, as well as the Uchiha clan would get wiped out. its the authors intent to make sasuke look foolish, thats why the series is called naruto because sasuke is only a supporting character. he is narutos goal. that being said if you always suspect sasuke of being in the wrong you're in the right.

So far everything going according to my predictions:
1) Sasuke believing Madara's selective truths - check!
2) Sasuke becoming enemy of Konoha because he is a stupid emo - check
Next according to my predictions
1) Sasuke attempts to eliminate Konoha - especially Denzo
2) Naruto tries to stop him - more angst ensues (I'm not sure what will take priority Naruto stopping Sasuke or getting revenge against Pain)
The end according to my predications:
1) Naruto unlocks true power of 9-tail fox with toad key - becoming super-powered and fighting even with Sasuke and/or Madara - still looses aka end of 1st part
then either Naruto looses control of 9-tail fox again and needs saving or most likely gets captured by Akatsuki and Madara/Pain succeed in removing 9-tail fox (and "killing" Naruto) and complete their goal
then Sasuke realizes (finally) what dupe he was and grudginly rejoins Konoha and somehow bringing Naruto back to life/aka healing. Without need to use 90% of his chakra to supress 9-tails Naruto becomes super-powered - he faces off Pain and Sasuke faces off Madara.
Tsunade - finally deals with Danzo and corrupt/old elders who probably will try to coup her rule in the chaos that Sasuke+Madara+Akatsuki create and starts new peaceful era of Konoha and other ninja villages blah blah blah

I thought just maybe tobi's stroy would knock some sense into sasuke's empty skull but i guess not. Once again sasuke proves just how much of a fucktard he is. His brother turns out to have killed his whole prideful power-hungry clan to save konoha. Sasuke finally believes all this and respects and loves his brother again. So...what does he do? He goes and tries to destroy what itachi sacrificed everything to protect...Konoha.....seriously somebody needs to put a bullet through his head. Madara will simply manipulate him into doing as much damage to konoha as he can and then when sasuke inevitably fails he will be thrown away like a used condom.
I have this bad feeling though that kakashi will feel guilty about teaching sasuke all that stuff and go and fight sasuke. At this point sasuke is probably a lot stronger that kakashi with his cheap power that itachi handed him on a silver platter and kakashi will die

The way sasuke sees it, Konaha forced his brother to become his most hated enemy. Konaha took away his family. The bond he had with his family is stronger than the bond he has with Naruto or anyone else from Konaha for that matter.
As I stated earlier, Itachi killed his clan to make sure Sasuke would survive. Now that sasuke can survive on his own, Sasuke is taking the other choice that Itachi was unable to make, "Destroy Konaha" because Konaha destroyed my family.

This is how I see it. Has there ever been an Uchiha who became Hokage?
Konoha was never a village for the Uchiha. It was always the Senju. Madara knew this. So I am actually delighted that "Hawk" aka Sasuke's group are now against Konoha. I certainly hope that they emerge victorious in burning Konoha to the ground. Burn Konoha!! Burn!! [pun intended]
I always feel for the bad guys.

too be honest, sasuke is very impilsive. i liked how he was at first, but now he's totally different and i don't like him anymore. i don't think he should destroy the leaf village, he's got to remember that he has people like naruto and sakura for him, but he's so clouded with anger and revenge that he's not thinking straight anymore.

wow i had alot of catching up to do. Now heres what i think about this whole mess. madara orchastrated everythin! he controlled kyubi and attacked konaha to arise suspision of the uchiha intending for the suspicion to develop into a sitation where the uchiha were to be preacuted. i think he intially intended to the konaha and the uchiha destroy each other taking revenge on his clan for rejecting him and all of his sacrifices and konaha village. yet he helped itachi destroy the uchiha leaving konaha unscathed.
i also find it kinda odd just how much naruto is being under estimated. Sure if he had a fight with sasuk at this momnt he'd lose but naruto is not weak. he also has this ability of being able to get years upon years of training in one week. the author can easily have naruto train a week and have him become strong as sasuke.
I do think naruto will have kyubi taken away/he realeases it (without him dieing). which causes him to become godly. i admit i thought he would be weaker with kyubi but this topic made me re-exam that thought. remember when he was training to be able to use wind chakra when suddenly he had a spike of kyubi power and yamamoto had help seal it back up. i thought it was because he had used to much of kyubis chakra and it was taking over him but now i think its the oppisite. he used to much of his own chakra causing the seal to weaken making it possible for kyubi to try and escape.

Hmmm... Sasuke and Naruto are rivals. The stronger Sasuke gets the stronger Naruto will force himself to become - he wants Sasuke to acknowledge him. So yeah, the manga has been focusing on Sasuke, showing how strong he is getting - it is hinting to how strong Naruto will become.
Sasuke is my favourite character but while he is strong, he is mentally weak and needs a goal in life. First was killing Itachi then surpassing Naruto and back to killing Itachi. Once he had killed Itachi, Mandara managed to slip in a new goal that serves his own purpose.
