I'm COOL!! >_>
No seriously, I'm the chillin type who got knowledge. Those type of guys, not the people who think there better than everyone, just the guy you say what up to in the hall way..
Also I keep my anime/manga goodness to myself... only those who watch it themselves know that I do it too.

what's up is what i call "lame". If you see me reading a manga and asking me what's up, you seriously need to see what the heck am i holding. xDDD
I'm the type that leads my friends, not a follower. Don't know why =/ sometime i feel like i was being bossy and ask them to play something so i can play with them, in the end i have to choose and they obeys..-sigh-

Heh i'm a loner. I keep to myself and only have a few friends who I only hang out with ever now and then. So labels I guess anti-social since I hate parties unless it's an anime/manga parties and i've never heard of one yet. I don't think i'm a nerd cause I dress kinda sloppily and don't really wear funny clothes ar glasses(all the stereotypes) also I usually have an i don't even care attitude like I don't eve care that i'm not wearing socks today or that I just came to school to sleep and not socialize. I'm smart but I don't show it cause I don't answer questions or anything I just sit there counting the mistakes that the teacher makes and laughing at them in my head. Sorry but the average teacher is a dolt. It's cause they're not well paid here. Oh I've rambled too long they're cueing the music that means they want me to shut up. And I wanna thank God for helping get me through the day and my momma for believin' in me and I wanna thank my homies...bleep cut to commercials

Yeah, "dork" is THE title.
We used to have long debates about this while running gels or centrifuging stuff in the lab I used to work in. We decided that "nerd" is for someone who is extremely smart and gets good grades in all their classes, yet is totally inept socially. "Geek", we concluded, is someone that is pretty smart & good at one particular thing but that thing has almost no marketability in real life - say, being good at D&D or something similarly lame. No offense (i hope)! So, "dork" would imply that a person is smart yet not over the top, and has a passion for things that are kinda weird. Dorks are also able to fit in with mainstream society, hang with the 'popular crowd' or whatever, and generally keep their dorkiness to themselves and the people who love them. I guess another word for "dork" could be "closet otaku", but only other otakus would know what that meant, so "dork" it remained.
Anything to add? What would you define these slang terms as?

The "nerd" definition in my book includes thick glasses, no athletics abilities and braces. It's just the image of one of my former classmates (no offense meant to all those who call themselves nerd in this forum, believe me you could not possibly match his looks).
Geek is what I call my husband (he IS a programmer)...
