I had to go to high school by bus. An 1 hour ride I mostly spend that time sleeping . I prefer going by car but I don't hate public transportation.

Public transport is my source of transportation around Melbourne.

In Melbourne, it's EVERYWHERE!

I love it, very convenient.

The only thing I'm well aquatinted with is the daily school bus... fond memories.

But now that my school is close enough that it's not necessary, I'm back to walking/driving. This city has pretty ok public transport, so I may look into it.

i kind of hate the bus

i get carsick when i cant have my eyes on the road ahead of me
i dont like to sit where some old person have just been sitting in public places[i have had a run in with wetseat from leaking old ppl more than one time lol just 2 times actually] one time on a train and one time at the postal office...it looked clean and dry and then SQUISH thanks you old shitbags

i had an experiece with a drunk buss driver when my class[5th grade i think] visited another country

the bus drivers are all angry fucks
they all look like they gonna stab you if you even breath in their direction whne you go on one

so hmm
i never take the bus if i can avoid it
train,walking and/or bicycle

I save gas money this way!

If I don't *quite* know where I'm going, I really hate taking the bus. Buses only stop when you tell them to (or if there's someone to pick up, of course), and if you don't recognize where you are, it's hard to get off at the right place!

We have a love/hate relationship.

I've never ridden the bus before except for one or two school trips. I think they're convenient though? Especially for those who don't have cars. Though my city isn't necessarily a commuting city so most of the people have cars.

When I lived in the city i rode the bus all the time save so much money, especially when parking is so expensive. Plus it was really fun after me and a few mates were coming back form the pub after a few to many drinks and talked to random people and got to yell and argue with each other for the whole ride home, yep good times.

I haven't been on any kind of public transportation ever since the bus in 4th grade lol. And that was quite a while ago.

I don't think so. Each country is different. There are countries which most people own their private vehicles. It can happen because the capacity of public transportation is not enough or public transportation have poor maintenance... due to government 's ignorance or owning private vehicle has become a culture.. so even public transportation is good and sufficient, they aren't interesting to use it.
Even for me, a bicycle is considered as private vehicle.

And in my place, only tight pocket and poor people use public transportation.
Well, i lived on a small city (32 square km) with current population over 350,000 people.

actually, i would love public transportation such a bus.
but since in my country the public transportation condition is... meh, desolate
i wont ride it if not necessary.

but i think soon i have to ride it, coz my country have already in 'danger state' of traffic jam EVERY DAY, every morning and evening. Everybody use their own car and motorcycle.
and there will be a limited gas for private vehicle [the price will be sooo... expensive] in order to decrease number of vehicle on road.
