I'm sorry, but where did you read that the woman or boy were "cutting through his lawn" anywhere? I haven't seen that written in any of the stories I've looked at. She could have been walking on the street, which is public domain.
Watch the video.
http://www.myfoxdc.com/dpp/news/local/101909_man_caught_ making_coffee_naked_faces_chargesThat's where I heard it, plus when you look at the positioning of the house it just makes this whole case pure insanity. When I first saw the headline I though that there might be some merit, especially if it was a small house close to a busy street where many people pass and can see through your window...
But this is not the case at all here. Plus, c'mon Liria! How can you be intentionally be exposing yourself at 5:30 AM? That is a contradiction in itself. If it were your intent to expose yourself you would be doing it in public at a time when people are actually out and about.

If that is a fact, then yes, I agree with your point. But I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere.
Even if she wasn't actually trespassing, which she was, he would still not be at fault.
I can understand that it is important to protect children's morals (regardless of whether or not if they are a twisted interpertation of society should work) but the woman's child was a seven year old boy. He saw nothing he hasn't seen before.
And if anything he probably found it funny that he saw some guy walking around naked. I don't see how he could be oh-so traumatized by seeing what he saw (from far away) that there would be a need to call the police.
