I'm looking for a good if not decent multiplayer game for my PS2. Haven't got anything in my mind yet so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Not referring to going online or anything, just simple 2 player games with another controller. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Would prefer it to be co-op.

Haha, I probably won't be asking if it was easy. Could have just found anything off google or something, but I wanted some player/user recommendations rather than reading stuff off sites like IGN.
Yea been thinking about Metal Slug... was hoping there will be others out there that can match the fun playability of Metal Slug. As far as RPGs are concerned, I prefer to layoff JRPGs as they are mostly about level grinding, but I enjoy the Persona series... refreshing gameplay, unlike the Final Fantasy games.

Well guitar hero is fun at parties...and my friend showed me a japanese arcade two-player girl fighting game called Arcana Heart. It require skills though

I figured you would want player recommendation. Sorry bout that.
I'm a Koei guy. I personally loved playing for hours and hours Samurai Warriors with my friend. (skip the first one).
Provides plenty of content and its a lot more fun to play with a friend then alone.

No worries mate. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. Will keep a lookout for Koei games. Might consider Samurai Warriors.
Calibine
Hmmm... not so sure about Guitar Heroes as I dislike those kind of games. I should give it a try before I jump to conclusions though. Haha.

guitar hero is strongest on the ps2 since some of the games havent made it to the next gen and all current games are also available on ps2.
the ps2 simply has the largest catalogue of gh games. i intend to get it soon to since the prices of them have gone way down
i can vouch for dynasty warriors, it is a fun co-op hack n slash. eventually though... you will get bored.
