I'm not much of a people person. I have about four that I actually consider to be close with (one being a best friend), and more acquaintances.

I've got lots of acquaintances, but only a few good friends. I don't like clingy people and whenever I make new friends, they cling!

Yeah, I've got a good amount of friends. Many I haven't talked to in a while, since I live away from them. But at the moment where I live, I have around seven or eight good friends, the rest are acquaintances.

I'm a loner! Not that I mind, or anything. I consider myself to be a social butterfly, but everytime I get close to someone, I get back stabbed.
For some reason, when I'm out and about, the teenage girls glare at me or ignore me, and the guys stare (all aged guys... Ya, creepy.) But I keep trying. I know the day will come when I find a friend that will stick with me through the thick and thin! <3

I am very sociable how ever i only have a few choice friends, all of them which i trust the rest are just people communicate with but do not trust that much

I consider the consequences of having lots of friends, for one, who can you trust?
I would say having a circle of friends, (not a clique) people that you've known for a while are rather more important than having more friends. I have a few close friends, and a lot of acquaintances.
BTW clique's shouldn't be recognized as a friend circle, it's just a circle of people who share/enjoy the same thing. That's not friendship that's combining similarities. Unless clique's go beyond that shared something then it's friendship
